programming ourselves

Hi All,
Just another day in Phoenix. Or is it? SSDD? OR SDDS? Or maybe none of those things? It all depends on how you see things. If you don't like what you see, then change it. From birth we are all programmed with certain things, these things, ideas and thoughts depend on a number of things. Life is made up of energy, and we are given free will to make choices in order to create our reality the way we want. If you spend your time being negative and thinking only bad things, you are sowing weeds. If, on the other hand, you are thinking on good things, learning to be happy, inside, where it counts...nothing will ever make you happy, only you can do that, althought things and people can contribute to your happiness. Then you are learning to create your reality the way you want. Of course you do have to deal with the group dynamic reality. But you can learn to change how you react to even that, so that you are making your reality the way you want.
It doesn't take a genius to figure that one out, but you must be willing to change your attitude and your thought patterns. I'm not saying it's easy for anyone, even me...although given the way I think, it's easier than it might have been. And for all you nay-sayers...I wish you the best, I truly do...but I can't change your thinking for you, you must take a leap of faith in yourself and do it on your own. This isn't meant to denigrate anyone, but I'm really tired of 'hearing' negativity about the positive things I say. I say and write these things for those who will/can accept them...and most of all for myself. Because it reinforces my thoughts when I type in things I want to reinforce for myself. So if you want to join on the journey...welcome, if not...it's your loss, not mine.
Peace,

things I like/love

I've decided to it's time to write a little about things I like/love. I love walking on the beach in the moonlight, alone or with someone special, or even with a friend. But the last beach I was on is in Chatham, MA...and I'm here in Phoenix, AZ. So that leaves, let's see...trips to the mountains, or lakes. Either is fun. While I like occasionally going to flea markets, yard sales, antique shops...because I like admiring the workmanship from the past...I'd much rather be outside, surrounded by nature. This is where I get my strength from. Nature and the Universe. I do practice magick, spelled with a 'K' to differentiate from stage magic such as is done by, say...David Copperfield. I call myself a 'witch' for lack of a better word, but I'm not Wiccan. I'm not Christian either, but I do believe in Jesus Christ. I believe we are all here to learn, and one of the things we learn is how to see the 'god' within each of us...this doesn't mean that we have to accept how people act. I like to paint, draw with charcoal, occasionally play guitar. I also like to write. I like to commune and work with plants and animals. I do stop to talk to nature and thank them for being there and sharing their world with me. I stop to smell the coffee...and the flowers, pheromones, and incense.Life is for living, not just surviving, or existing. Each day should be lived as if it were the last. Yesterday is already gone, tomorrow never comes, and today is always here. I am passionate about love, life in general, about making my life better. I hope I have touched people along the way and made their life better, as several have done to mine. These are good things.I love to see the painted sky during a sunrise or sunset. The way the sun reflects on the water. The beauty of a prism when the sun shines on an ice coated tree limb, or sparkles on the snow. Yeah it's cold...but my god! it's beautiful. I don't do anything by halves, but all the way. If it's worth doing, it's worth doing well. I believe in being honest, and having integrity. I also believe friends are a valued asset, and that you don't give up your freedom to choose just because you have someone special in your life, nor do you give up your friends. You don't have to choose to 'cheat' on your mate, not do you have to choose to have them 'play second fiddle' to your friends. A relationship requires work, as does love...both are a full time job. Both require commitment. Life must be balanced if it is to be the way you prefer. As a friend once said...Dance like no one is watching, love like you won't get hurt, work like you don't need the money. I do like to dance and I move to the rhythm of the beat. The beat of my heart, or my mate as well. Life is a beautiful, it's meant to be shared...by a mate, significant other and by friends.I like to play chess, as well as pool...and I love discussing things...metaphysical, mystical, physics...intellectual conversations always stimulate the mind, which in turn stimulate the body. I hate being bored, I refuse to be disrespected. I like me as I am, and what I don't like I'm working on. I don't need a man in my life, but I want a man in my life. There is a difference. I want a companion to do things with, someone who is interested in the things I'm interested in, but I also would like to do the things he likes doing. Like long rides whether on a motorcycle or car/truck. Just hanging out, working on a car/truck or whatever we decide to do that day/evening/night. I do know a little about fixing a car...I used to repair my own when I drove...I know how to fix things around the house as well, that came from working in remodeling. I like to camp and fish...although I've not been fishing in years...too busy raising my kids, who are now married and have kids of their own. I did have the pleasure of an overnight camping trip and I really enjoyed it.
I suppose that's enough.

pc is back...

Hi All,
I have finally gotten the old pc back. It's been up and running for a couple of days. We'll see how it goes. But that isn't what I want to talk about. I want to talk about a number of things. Well sorta...I don't really want to talk about a damn thing, I'd rather take action. lol
"Too much talk, a little more action." That was a nice song. And it is how I feel sometimes.
There are things that need to be said, and there are things that need to be done. Since I need to be doing a few things, that's what I'm now going to do.
As they say..."Let the games begin."

who we are really

Hi All,
I suppose all of us must wonder why we're here, who we are, where we came from, and even what all this means. I do. But the difference is, now I've found even more of the answer for myself. So what I will write in the rest of this post are my personal thoughts.
We are individual expressions of god, the creator. We are all equal to god. Now just wait a minute, I can hear some of you say, and even ...blasphemy!!! Be that as it may, I still believe it. Jesus himself, said that when we see him we see the father. Of course you can also say he was speaking of himself, not others in general. If so, then why would he bother to teach that what he did, we can also do...and that we are gods, according to the bible. You read it. John 10, and also Psalms 82.
It's time for us to awaken to our own divinity. We are divine, and we are equal to god. You don't think so? Then think on this: Only god can create, and we are gods, because of a number of things. We create our own reality, based on what we think about, Jesus and the bible say so, and we are equal to god. Why should god, any god, create something less than him/herself? That would be a gross insult. Only man has the impudence to hold people in bondage to subservience, and slavery. God hasn't said to man to choose only him or you will go to hell...man said that. Just like man wants to keep women in bondage in many country...barefoot, pregnant and in the kitchen. The bible was written by men, ...yeah I know it says "as they were moved by the holy spirit". Sorry, I don't believe it, and if it was a spirit that told them to write that, it couldn't have been holy. Furthermore, it wasn't god the creator who told men to keep women 'in order'. Rather it was an evil from an ancient time. God created us because he wanted to see things from a different perspective, but also because he wanted to see how we would learn and what we would create. God is curious, and if it is true, the saying of "as above, so below", then he hates boredom...because we do as well.
This is my story, and I'm sticking to it.

another look at reality

Hi All,
I've decided to have another take on reality. Do you know, I mean really know, how we create our reality? There are different ways of looking at, or perceiving reality. Your reality is what you see, or perceive when looking around you.
Our subconscious mind, which is also our 'divine spark', our god self, is responsible for how we create. We are responsible for what we create. Whatever we focus or spending our time thinking on, that is what comes to us.
If you had a magic lamp, and as many wishes as you want, what would you wish for? Well...your subconscious mind is the 'genie' that you use to create what you want. Why spend so much time creating that which you don't want, when you can spend the same amount of time creating what you actually do want? Unless you just want something to bitch about. I know this to be true. I am continually creating, as are all of you. The trick is to change your way of thinking.
If you constantly think you are a loser, you will be. If you think you are poor, you will be. If you think you are well off, you will be. If you think you are in pain, you will be. I'm not saying that people don't feel pain, I too feel pain. But if you will change your way of thinking, you will feel less and less pain, and your body will heal itself. The human body is a wonderful mechanism. As is the human mind. You must start telling yourself that you are in perfect health, and that you are happy. You might not be now, but you will be if you keep telling yourself that you are. This is how you change your way of thinking. I'm not suggesting you ignore the problems you have, but I am suggesting that you change your way of thinking. Even I have to do that on a few subjects. The biggest example I can think of is why do I have headaches almost everyday? Do I think I need them? If so, why? I noticed that when I was in Sedona, that I didn't have a headache. I know there are sulfates in wine which actually cause headaches. I drank wine yesterday, mixed with juice...it was actually very good. From around 11 a.m. until around 4:30 or so, when it was mostly out of my system, I didn't have a headache. I find this rather curious. I don't use a headache for not doing things, so therefore I don't need them. Do you see how I am changing my thinking? I don't need them, therefore they serve no purpose. Eventually I will no longer have headaches all the time.
Regardless of where we are in this point in time with our life, we are always learning. Yeah, I can hear some of you saying about now, 'yeah, whatever!' That is your problem, I'm taking care of mine. As they say, be careful of what you wish for, you just might get it.

busy today

Hi All,
I've been busy studying and learning. I also took the time to watch "Flashdance", and I heard a quote near the end. "Don't you understand? If you give up your dreams, you die." This is often very true, and yet perhaps some people don't realize it. If we let our dreams die, do we live...I mean really live? Or just exist? This is a good question, but I rather think we each have to answer that one for ourselves.
What does it mean to really live? To have everything our way? It might be nice, but then where would the challenge be? How boring that would be! It is more interesting to manipulate the fabric of reality and make it the way we want it to be, than to have it handed to us on a silver platter. I don't about you, but I hate boring. Still, all in all, most of my life is the way I want it. What isn't, I'm working on. Hence the learning part of what I'm doing.
I love to learn, and I put it to good use. Even when it doesn't seem to be what I should be doing. I don't believe in letting people get by with doing wrong to others. That just irks the hell right outta me. So, I send a little message, then take action. If you don't like the way I handle things, then stay the hell outta my face. I take care of my own. I always have, always will. There are some people who just don't get it...if you screw with my family...you screw with me. I don't ask anyone to fight my battles, or to pay my way. I take care of business my way. Because it's my nature to do so, it's also the way I learned while growing up.
You might not think so, but then I don't really care what you think.
With that in mind, I wish you peace,
