If you love, give it wings to be free and it will return to thee. If you would have love, express love, give it wings also and it will come to thee. If you would have joy, happiness...give them wings, and they shall return to thee.
You cannot put love, joy, happiness, freedom in a cage and expect them to stay with thee. They shall always seek to flee from thee. Only that which knows you trust it enough to allow it freedom will choose to come to thee.
In your heart, you know this is true. If thou seekest peace, let peace have free reign in thy life. The Bible and other religious works say to love thy enemies, this is a good thing, for if you send love to thy enemies, they may yet seek to become thy friend. Love seeks love, joy seeks joy, happiness seeks happiness and freedom seeks nothing. It is already free.
We often equate freedom with having...but freedom's just another word for nothing left to lose, and nothing ain't worth nothing, but it's free. So says the song from Bobby MaGee. It's true, when you are truly free, you haven't anything left to lose. It's like fear, nothing to fear but fear itself. And yet we are afraid of losing everything. We spend so much time worrying about losing things, we spend little time on appreciating what we have. If we concentrate on what we don't want, that is what we get. We lose that which we do have. Let freedom ring.
Peace,

finding oneself...
How does one find oneself amidst the chaos of day to day living? Or should I say surviving? Because that is what many do, just survive. And yet we can be surrounded by the peace of just knowing that I am that I am. I will be what I will be is another way of putting it. I find it incredibly hard at times to do this, find the peace we all need. I do have a sense of peace, but at times I find it hard to experience it. Knowing the peace of being secure in oneself, knowing that we are the outward expression of all that is, the Creator, the Great Spirit is an important thing to do. We are! And yet, most of us don't act like.
Do you ever think about the word 'act'? It means to pretend. Act your age. Act like an adult. Stop acting like a child. First off all, it's a good thing to pretend sometimes. Why would you want to act like your age, when you feel like you're younger than you are? Adults usually act like children, although I notice that children usually act more like adults than adults do. As to acting like a child, it's ok to be childlike, just not childish. Children are childlike, adults are often childish. It's simply a way of seeing things. Look at rainbows, a sunrise, or sunset, the beauty of the ocean, the sound of the wind in the trees. Hell, I like to paint, and I also like to paint pictures with words. But then words always did fascinate me. Here, there and where...only one letter in different spelling, but meaning? A lot of difference. I'm here, I'm there, I'm where? If I'm here, how can I be there? Where am I? Here depends on where there is, including my thoughts. I have been accused of having the ability for 'remote viewing', and I suppose it is possible. I may not have a clear picture of what a person is wearing or even doing, and yet I sense things about them that I shouldn't know unless I'm right there. When you do remote viewing, you may be 'here' physically, but you are 'there' in the spirit. See? Fascinating isn't it? Makes for a nice play on words.
What does all this have to do with finding oneself? We need to stop letting the day to day hassle of coping with things interfere with peace. Love and Peace to all.

Mother Earth
Hi All,
Did you ever watch "On Deadly Ground" starring Steven Segal? One of my favorite movies. How much truth do you think is in the movie? The message he sends is a very valid one. It is for all peoples, everywhere. We are destroying Mother Earth because of greed, politics, and ignorance.
I've heard people talk about the good ole days, and how things were so much better back then. We have wars going on, some in the physical realm, some in the spiritual realm. When wars are going on, it can't be the good ole days. When people can't breathe because of toxins in the air, they are sick because of toxins in the ground and water, it isn't the good ole days.
Yes, progress is good when it is in the right direction. Unfortunately most progress seems to be of a destructive sort. How is it progress if it hurts people? Oh yeah, I damn near forgot...if it involves money, politics or power...that's all that counts. Not the millions of people who are sick because of the toxic waste that gets dumped into the water and ground, and spilled into the air. What about the fowls of the air? The animals? The fish and mammals in the ocean? What about babies who are born with birth defects?
Those who do these things may think they are getting away with it. They aren't. They have to breathe, eat and drink as well. What affects one, affects all. Personally I think it sucks when people can put a price on life. Life is priceless. We are all connected. Those birds may have feathers, those animals may have furs and the fish may have fins but they are no less valuable in the scheme of things than people. The same Creator who made us, made them as well. Do ya think he did it just to have something to do? Maybe we all need them and they need us. There must be balance.
Time is coming very soon, when there will be retribution. The earth, our mother, is not going to stand by forever and let us screw her over. Don't you see the way the weather patterns have changed? That earthquakes have increased? Hell...in Indonesia...various provinces, there were at least 20 earthquakes in about a 10 day time period.
People don't like what they see, so they have trouble seeing. If they don't like what they hear, they start losing their hearing. Even if you don't believe it, it may be true. Those of us who are more in tune with the earth know that something is about to happen. We can feel it. Some of have headaches all the time, and if there is to be an earthquake we sometimes have migraines from hell. They're worse than the usual migraines, but recede to 'normal' proportions after the quake. I've seen this on the web among others who are now experiencing it. Personally I'm tired of the pain caused by 'big brother' and big companies causing this kind of damage. Our mother, the earth, will bring things back into balance when she's ready. You who are doing this to earth will reap what you sow. This isn't a threat, it's a fact that we always get back what we send out.
If some 'little guy' did this he'd be in jail...but not where there's money concerned. Money equals power. Power is a good thing, but absolute power corrupts absolutely. There is no excuse for this, there are alternative ways to do things. Look at Nikola Tesla. He figured a way for everyone to have free electric power. Guess what happened to him? And now look at our power bills every month. At one time, if you needed air in your tires, it was free. Not anymore. Our very rights are constantly being taken from us, and it is often done in such an ingenious way that we aren't even aware of until it is too late.
We all need to wake up, stop the madness and try to repair the damage we've done to mother earth. If we don't, she will.

psychics and headaches
Hi,
I've been reading about people who are having psychic experiences and also headaches or even migraines. I know I'm not the only one who does. I have no idea why, but I have a theory...or theories. Since everything is energy, and there is electromagnetic energy in the body, I think I get an overload of this energy. The human body doesn't know how to cope with the energy overload. It isn't really an overload, but since we aren't use to it, we (our bodies) don't know how to handle it. Ergo! Headaches are to alert us to the fact that we are getting too much energy. Whenever you have pain, it's to alert you that there is a problem. So headaches are a warning system. When you're psychic, you're extremely sensitive to energy patterns. Something has changed the rhythm or frequency of our energy field, or 'brushed up against' our energy field, thus alerting us to things most people don't see. So if we were to dissipate the excess energy, would that relieve us of the headaches? I don't think so. It just doesn't work that way. We need the extra energy. And even so, we are drained sometimes. We all have a personal frequency, and when we are brushed up against, we take on the frequencies of others, regardless of the plane of existence in which they live. When our frequencies merge with another being's frequency, there is a blending of energies.
I read a 2 page book the other day, it is about the white or golden colored flame deep within one's heart, and the feeling of joy and of freedom. You combine them together and the feeling is so great. I felt as if nothing could stand in my way of doing things. Hey, I tried it and it worked for me.
I need to relax more, and stop letting stress get to me. One of the ways I relax is in a medium hot bath. Pour a little Patchouli oil into the water with floral or musk, or ocean scented bubble bath. Light a few candles, and some incense of the same scent...it should all be harmonious. Play a little David Arkenstone, David Sanborn, or Flute music, sit there and smoke a cigarette while drinking a hot tea with lemon and sugar. Lay back and do my mental exercises, which are also good for meditation. Imagine my body floating in a sea of white light, with the light pouring into my heart chakra. After a few minutes, change the light to a sparkling white sacred light and do the same thing. Then I'll do a few others. By the time I'm done, I'm so relaxed I almost have to drag myself out of the bath. After the bath, unless I have company I'm going to study awhile, either on the web or with a particular book. Of course, the books I now have?....I've outgrown them all. lol...So either I get new books or...write my own. Which I've often thought about for a few months now, writing what works for me.
I know it seems as if my post tonight is disjointed, but it isn't. And I don't have the answers yet. When I know, I'll let you know. Until next time...
Peace,

left field
The term "out in left field", use to refer to baseball. Now it seems to be more like the following in meaning:
"Perhaps the most likely theory is that it alludes to inmates of the Neuropsychiatric Institute, a mental hospital, which was located behind left field in Chicago's old West Side Park. Hence being told you are 'out in left field' would mean you were accused of being as peculiar as a mental patient. In any event, the term has been used figuratively for various kinds of eccentricity and misguidedness since the first half of the 20th century." The link gives more about it, but for brevity's sake, I copied and pasted only some of it.
http://www.phrases.org.uk/bulletin_board/16/messages/591.html
Now, I'm going to add my two (2) cents to it. Did you people who use the term ever stop to think that #1, it is another way of thinking about or seeing something? Or #2, that for people who may be 'out in left field', it is 'normal' for them? Normal is a relative term, because one person's reality isn't anothers'. Nor will anyone ever see things the same way. I am glad I'm an individual, and that I'm 'different', but then most people are. Just because I think and act or react differently, as well as think differently doesn't mean I'm not normal. Although if I am, so freakin' what? Am I supposed to be like everyone else? No, because then I'd be a clone.
I seem to elicit certain responses from people.
1. They always want to be around me, but would prefer that I change something about myself.
2. They are incredibly uncomfortable around me.
I find these responses to be, for the most part, simply put...ludicrous. Either accept me as I am or stay the hell out of my face. There are things I don't want people doing with me, and while they may be a given, per se, not all people know this. So I tell them. Yes it is common sense, but then that is a commodity that seems to be rare these days. I'm not inferring that someone is a jerk, or whatever, when I tell them these things, but I want there to be absolutely no misunderstanding about some things. And while there are things I do need to 'fix' about me, that is my job, when and if I see it. Not someone else's. Besides, if I change into what someone else wants me to be, I wouldn't be me. I'd be someone else.
I feel so uncomfortable with myself, when I try to meet their expectations and be what they want me to be, that it's not worth it. I do try to accept people for who/what they are. I'm also sure I don't always succeed, so I don't really expect them to succeed either.
If someone wants me in their life, they will have to accept me as I am. I'm not a violent person, although I can go there if need be. I would much rather have a discussion than to settle the matter, but shit happens.
It was remarked upon yesterday that I haven't been writing much. This is true. I have some things I'm going thru right now, and it's just better if I get the job done, rather than spend time writing about it. Although it can certainly be argued that writing is in fact a very good therapeutic tool. I know this and yet, there's a private part of me, that doesn't want to write about it.
I'm tired of all the BS. I'm tired of just desert, not good for a mountain woman, which I am. Not good for one who likes the water, which I do. I'm tired of doing everything alone, when right now, I need either friends or a mate to help me thru the rough spots. Someone who knows about magick to guard my back, so to speak. Or is at least willing to learn about it. I'm a witch, I can do this, and I will...it is easier to do this with someone than alone, but then I'm use to doing this crap alone. Yes this is something I must do. I suppose I'm so used to doing for myself and my family, alone, that it's hard to let someone else do it. Only, in this case, as well as many others, I am doing it alone. I'm not going to say what this is inference to, because I need to work silently on it. What/who I need will appear in my life soon. While I may be a watcher/guardian...I need a partner in this. Ok, Universe...where is he? Thanks Universe, for always being there for me and most of all for accepting me as I am. Nature, thank you for always being my support team. Love you all.

anger
Hey All,
Ya know, there's a reason for this " 'lil rant". Whenever someone says that anger is a waste of energy and they don't get angry, they are usually lying.
See this definition? It's from the medical terms dictionary.
Anger: An emotional state that may range in intensity from mild irritation to intense fury and rage. Anger has physical effects including raising the heart rate and blood pressure and the levels of adrenaline and noradrenaline.
http://www.medterms.com/script/main/art.asp?articlekey=33843
Now, when someone damn near hits me, (didn't know I could move so fast...lol). It's not a laughing matter, but then when someone damn near hits me and accuses me of 'over reacting', I don't think so. This particular post is a warning, because some people say they don't get angry, and then they do. What did I do to deserve this? Nothing. What happened, you ask. I'll say that what I did was nothing to provoke anyone to anger. But, the next time someone tells me they don't get angry, I'm going the other way so damn fast they'll think I was never there. That is hyperbolizing, of course, but still, you get my point. In other words, just color me gone. I don't put up with such bull. Ladies, if any of you ever read this, stay away from guys who say they never get angry. They're lying thru their teeth.
As soon as it happened, I felt a 'wall' go up. Never again will this person get a chance with me. Yes I'm angry, but I will get over it.

love, fear, and relationships...
Hi All,
Why do we want relationships? Why do we yearn for another person to be in our lives? Especially those of us who have had really bad relationships in the past? And are we to let that fear ruin our chance for happiness? So to speak. Why are we afraid of relationships? Why are we looking outside ourselves for happiness? What is it about another person in our lives that make us feel so damn good?
We, as a species, hate to be alone. Even if we like our own company, and are comfortable with ourselves. It seems as if something is missing, as if we are only a part of the whole. Then comes along the man or woman that we feel a connection with, and we feel whole. Sometimes relationships turn bad, but we shouldn't be afraid to take a chance on another one. We can't let the fear run our lives. So many people do. Rather than take a person at face value, we let a host of other things take precedence. As for happiness...that is inside each of us or it's not to be found. People say to another, "You make me so happy!" But what we mean is, you really add to my happiness. If we are, already happy. We can be happy and sad at the same time.
We yearn for another person to make us whole. We are individuals, and yet the bond of love is such that we feel as if we have come home, and the part we seem to sense as being absent..is with us. We are often afraid of making the same mistake again, but if we learn why we made it the first time, perhaps we can avoid making the same mistake again.
We enjoy sharing. That is one of the reasons we feel so good when we have another person in our lives. We don't want to be alone, we weren't created to be alone. There is no reason to be alone, unless you choose to be. If you find the person that is right for you, that you are right for...then go for it. Leave the past behind.
People are always so afraid of so many things. Age. He/she is too old, too young. Can't keep up, what if he/she dies? Then I'll be alone again. Money. Maybe he/she is only interested in my money. Maybe they just want to use me, for whatever. Well...some people do use others to get what they want. But some people don't. Not everyone is out to take you for whatever they can. That doesn't even have anything to do with how rich or poor a person is, there are rich people who want to get all they can, so don't go thinking that just because a person is well-off, they aren't going to use you. Besides which, you can always do a background check on the person. They shouldn't mind if they have nothing to hide. I mean if you are getting really serious about a person.
Ok, enough of that. You all have a good day.
