a few rants and a couple of raves

Hi,
It's been a long time since I wrote here. I will soon be in KY, and I graduated with honors from ITT-Tech. I was invited into the National Technical Honor Society. How cool is that? That was the raves.
Now for the rants.
I was engaged, but now I'm free again. I just flat out left him. He seemed to be perfect for me, not that he was perfect. Now I just feel betrayed, as if he had this planned out from the beginning. He lives in the country, which is fine as I like the country, and if I had just listened to what he was really saying, I would never have become involved. I was too vulnerable, and rather than listen to my intuition (big mistake), I listened to what I wanted to hear.
In the beginning, it seemed as if he couldn't do enough for me. Then he had surgery, and when he was 'back on his feet', he totally changed. Even his family noticed it, of course I was given the blame for that. I played nursemaid and took care of him while he recuperated. His sister lied on me, not that he will admit it now that I'm gone, and probably didn't admit it when he knew I couldn't hear him talk about me. He loves to run his mouth to people; he lies and gossips and shares all your business with whoever he talks to. Bummer! I prefer my privacy and if I wanted it told I would tell it myself, thank you very much.
Now I'm visiting my daughter and her neighbor is a freaking bully. Always harassing and bullying everyone in the mobile home park, acting like their the boss. Also, the police won't even do anything, they won't even come here and make a report. Even when she goes to the police department, they still won't do anything or make a report.
These people have been thrown out of at least one town, and they're apparently dealing or trading but it's rather hard to get any evidence of it. The freakin' landlord won't do anything. I don't think he even reads the rules to the park, if so he could say he wasn't aware of it. However, he is breaking the law by not enforcing the rules and ignorance is no excuse for it. He just doesn't like to stand up and do what is right.
Other than that, it's all peachy kean!

Alan's Birthday, etc.

Hi All,
Today is Alan's birthday, and I haven't called him. It would be rather hard to do that; he died a little over a year ago. December will be 2 years. I miss him and I hate not being able to call him. I still talk to him, and I wished hime happy birthday today, although I did it mentally. It's really strange how the deaths in our family have been happening lately. For years there were no close amily members, then Alan dies in December, the following year, in March, my dad's sister and my mom's brother died. Then in January of this year, my dad died. Personally I find that strange.
On another front, I'm still doing well in school. I received 5 highest honors certificates, so that is something to be proud of. My websites are still being updated periodically, although I'm still working on them. Hey, it's a work in progress. I have new websites, but only one of them is up. Stop by and enjoy. I'm probably going to update that one as well. the products, not the website. The ebooks are good, but I feel they can be better.

A few thoughts and musings

Hi All,
It's been a really long time since I last posted here. I would like to share a few things with my readers. First of all, I've moved to Vermont, and I'm getting married in about a year. Will this relationship last longer than the others I was in? We'll see. I think it will, it at least has the potential of being long term. This time, I am totally accepted for who I am.
It's beautiful here in Brunswick, VT...
There is an eagles' aerie above where I live, so I see them often flying up and down the Connecticut River Basin and above the mountains. There are moose, bear, deer and other wild animals that walk around the perimeter of our back yard. Oh yeah, and coydogs. Wolves have been also seen.
It is peaceful here, but then it is almost 20 miles to town. I love it here. I am 18 days older than my mate, Paul. The more we talk, the more we find we have in common.
I'm still doing well in school, with a 3.78 GPA. The business is still there, and now that I don't have to deal with dial up (which I've had for a month), I can actually get some business work done. I now have satellite internet. The same way we get TV reception. Cable isn't available here yet.
All in all, things are really great.

It's been awhile since I posted here. I've been posting on my metaphysics blog, which you can get to from my home page or click this link. I have been well, and I'm doing great in school. I met someone whom I really like. Whenever he's around, I don't have headaches, and if I have one, it leaves. This is really cool.
I've been doing a lot of soul searching. More than I usually do. Because I'm learning what my internal conflicts are, so as to eradicate them.
I won't keep you long, as I have work to do. I'm making cats for the grandkids, and working on a couple of pieces of jewelry.

I received the following in an email. Whether this is true or not, it is certainly what we as Americans should do. Our men and women are fighting a war that is totally pointless otherwise. I don't support the war, but I DO support the men and women who are in the military.
While I'm at it, let me say a few words about religion. I do not personally care what religion you subscribe to, but I do care about the intolerance many religions show to those of other belief systems. My personal belief is my business, and is between me and whomever/whatever I choose to believe in. It is NOT your business. So for all of those with belief systems who absolutely refuse to accept that I have a different belief system: Leave people alone! It certainly isn't your business nor is it your job to convert me to your belief system. Religions should teach tolerance, not domination.

It took a lot of courage for this man to speak what he had to say for the world to hear. The retribution could be phenomenal, but at least he was willing to take a stand on his and Australia 's beliefs.

Muslims who want to live under Islamic Sharia law were told on Wednesday, March 17th to get out of Australia , as the government targeted radicals in a bid to head off potential terror attacks..

Separately, Rudd angered some Australian Muslims on Wednesday by saying he supported spy agencies monitoring the nation's mosques. Quote:

the funeral

Hello All,
We finally made it to the funeral, and it was a beautiful day. We had 5" of snow here in NH the Friday before we left. But it was in the 70's in WV. I saw many people whom I had not seen in years. He (my brother) always liked to play 'King of the Hill'; now he can be King because of where we placed his grave. He has a beautiful view. I've heard people say that about graves before. If the person isn't alive, how does he enjoy it? Spiritually he can. It's only the body that dies. I would prefer that it didn't have to be a funeral to get us all together. But, we still had a good time. I think Alan would have been pleased.

Programmers, Engineers and Electronics Techs

Hi All,
I have a favor to ask, of a sorts. In the 90's, I started playing around with computers and did two things. I started getting into programming and I learned how to repair them. I was to the point that I could write a small program for a friend without having to write it down. But then I moved to WV and had absolutely no support group. I'm getting ready to move to KY in the fall. I really would like a support group of people who are into computers, especially programmers, engineers and electronics techs. I'm hanging in there

We just went through two storms, and lost electricity for 3 days. Another storm is due to hit tonight. I hope we don't lose electricity again.
I feel so exhausted! I guess it's the weather, although most of the grandkids and daughters have went through a 24/48 hour virus. I will miss my family, but I will be so glad when I get to KY.

It's a really hard thing to bear when you get the call that tells you a loved one has died. It's gut wrenching, to say the least. I find myself feeling a little lost, as in "What do I do now?" I know I have to carry on. We had a few good laughs over the years. He was suffering, a lot, the last few years. So he's better off now that's he's passed into the journey known as death. We are all sad and hurt. He's in PHX, and I'm here in NH. I know that I couldn't be there physically with him, so when I went to bed last night around 11:30 or so, I visited him in my mind. I saw myself in the hospice where he was, and talked to him for awhile. I believe that we are where our minds are, in spirit. And that is energy, which everything is made of. It doesn't recognize distance. I hate it that I couldn't see him in person before he passed on. The rest of the family hadn't seen him in 13 years. I wish we could all have said our good byes in person. The last time I was able to talk to him by phone was on Christmas day.
I don't wish to say anymore now. Will update this as time and events permit.

Happy Thanksgiving and more

I wish all of you, regardless of where you are a Happy Thanksgiving. I have much to be thankful, which I'm always grateful for. Perhaps it doesn't appear that I have much to be thankful for, but I assure you that isn't the case. I'm in good health, I have a roof over my head and food to eat.
While it's true that I may not have a lot, I have a lot more than some. I have a business, which will get better, even in these hard times. My family is well. My friends are well. I have been depressed soemwhat over a few things that are going on in my life right now. Makes me think, "What's the point?" Also makes it hard to focus on things. However, I tell myself, "Because I'm worth it. I care and I matter too. That is the point."
So I keep on keepin on. I'm not giving up.
But I'm also learning new things as I go along. I'm also practicing magick more, meditating, and practicing energy healing on myself. I'm learning to create entities to help me with my problems. They don't solve them, but they do give suggestions. This seems to be helping.I joined Covenspace, which is a social network for pagans, and other like minded people. I finished my finals this term. So schools out until the 7th of December. I intend on using this time to overhaul the business.
Anyway...
to all people everywhere, I wish you all a happy thanksgiving.

Too Busy for a Friend....

Hi All,
I received this in an eamil this morning. Enjoy.

One day a teacher asked her students to list the names of the other students in the room on two sheets of paper, leaving a space between each name.
Then she told them to think of the nicest thing they could say about each of their classmates and write it down.

It took the remainder of the class period to finish their assignment, and as the students left the room, each one handed in the papers.

That Saturday, the teacher wrote down the name of each student on a separate sheet of paper, and listed what everyone else had said about that individual.

On Monday she gave each student his or her list. Before long, the entire class was smiling. 'Really?' she heard whispered. 'I never knew that I meant anything to anyone!' and, 'I didn't know others liked me so much,' were most of the comments.

No one ever mentioned those papers in class again. She never knew if they discussed them after class or with their parents, but it didn't matter. The exercise had accomplished its purpose. The students were happy with themselves and one another. That group of students moved on.

Several years later, one of the students was killed in Vietnam and his teacher attended the funeral of that special student. She had never seen a serviceman in a military coffin before. He looked so handsome, so mature.

The church was packed with his friends. One by one those who loved him took a last walk by the coffin. The teacher was the last one to bless the coffin.

As she stood there, one of the soldiers who acted as pallbearer came up to her. 'Were you Mark's math teacher?' he asked. She nodded: 'yes.' Then he said: 'Mark talked about you a lot.'

After the funeral, most of Mark's former classmates went together to a luncheon. Mark's mother and father were there, obviously waiting to speak with his teacher.

'We want to show you something,' his father said, taking a wallet out of his pocket 'They found this on Mark when he was killed. We thought you might recognize it.'

Opening the billfold, he carefully removed two worn pieces of notebook paper that had obviously been taped, folded and refolded many times. The teacher knew without looking that the papers were the ones on which she had listed all the good things each of Mark's classmates had said about him.

'Thank you so much for doing that,' Mark's mother said. 'As you can see, Mark treasured it.'

All of Mark's former classmates started to gather around. Charlie smiled rather sheepishly and said, 'I still have my list. It's in the top drawer of my desk at home.'

Chuck's wife said, 'Chuck asked me to put his in our wedding album.'

'I have mine too,' Marilyn said. 'It's in my diary' Then Vicki, another classmate, reached into her pocketbook, took out her wallet and showed her worn and frazzled list to the group. 'I carry this with me at all times, 'Vicki said and without batting an eyelash, she continued: 'I think we all saved our lists'

That's when the teacher finally sat down and cried. She cried for Mark and for all his friends who would never see him again.

The density of people in society is so thick that we forget that life will end one day. And we don't know when that one day will be.

So please, tell the people you love and care for, that they are special and important. Tell them, before it is too late.

And One Way To Accomplish This Is: Forward this message on. If you do not send it, you will have, once again passed up the wonderful opportunity to do something nice and beautiful.

To Be a Wielder of Magick

I sometimes wonder about things, many things. One of the things that has been bothering me is the fact that I’m not getting any sales. Perhaps it’s because I’m openly a witch/pagan. I base this statement on this basis. When I date someone, I always tell them that I’m a witch. They begin to ask all kinds of silly questions. Some of them seem to have a fear of me, or rather of what they think I’m going to do to them. Perhaps they have not-so-nice, ulterior motives. At any rate, I think its ignorance most of all. I’ve always been just like I am now. I’ve been a Christian, and I’ve been a pagan. I feel as if I was chosen to be on this path, but I also feel as if I chose this path.
I remember when I was very young. I use to go outside and eat certain flowers. I later learned that these flowers heal people. Whatever you think I am does not matter. Because I am what I am, and I will be what I will be. I am a wielder of magick, and I do work with these natural energies for a variety of reasons. Most of all, it is an inherent part of me.
There was a time when we were looked upon as a welcome acquisition to the community. We were healers and mid-wives. Then along came Christianity with their lies, and their beliefs, and we were branded as the devil’s spawn, devil worshipers, evil, etc. I’m only giving an abbreviated version here. If you look in Strong’s Concordance at the original word, you would see that it meant a person who sells drugs. And it would say sorcerer, sorceress, and one who reads signs and the stars. Of course, that was years ago when I used to study the bible so much. I used the same tools as if I were in a Seminary. Regardless, I do not intend to become something else.
I have a couple of simple rules I use, 1) I don’t do anything to harm someone else, and 2)I try to help others, as well as myself. I work with the energies, and yes, I also cast spells. I don’t have a familiar. But I do have spirits who like my company, and who watch out for me. I’ve also known a few gods to be around occasionally.
I see no reason to hide what I am. Do Christians hide what they are? Why should I? It’s a religion. I practice an eclectic style of paganism. I prefer the old style to the new. I don’t prescribe to any one ‘flavor’ of paganism. I work with energy, intent, incense, candles and little else.
The fact that I openly proclaim what I am should create a sense of trust in buying my products, simply because I’m not hiding anything. I don’t say that my family has been involved in any particular thing for years. It’s not true, so I’m not saying it. I will say that I have been practing a type of mental magick for years.
Here are a few quotes I copied and pasted from the web. They are along the lines of what I have often thought thru the years. I left the quotes in the original font, to differentiate from what I am writing.
“Originally, the idea of witches dated back to early antiquity when Greek and Roman gods and goddesses were thought to be the only magical thing around. The idea of a witch was actually considered a sign of good fortune because the gods had looked kindly down upon you and granted you with the gift of magic.”
“Witches were most often revered in ancient times; often know as being healers of their communities. Think of the traditional Indian medicine man, this is how witches were thought of, women who helped those who were sick. When the rise of Christianity came about, witches were deemed as evil because people could not explain where they received their "powers" to heal.
The height of this condemnation toward witches came in the late 1600's and more often referred to as the Salem Witch Trials. Women and men were both accused of being witches and this usually stemmed from just a single persons accusation. These accusations were also not built on actual seeing of "evil" doings and most often just based on not likening someone or their social status.”
“Women were revered as Earth Mother figures in ancient times. In Greece which was considered the intellectual civilization of the world at that time, crucial political decisions were made by consulting the simple peasant girls who were Apollo's oracles at Delphi.
By the Middle Ages men's earlier awe of woman altered from the point of viewing her as the personification of Mother Nature to that of viewing her as an avaricious and wicked soul. The fact that women produced living humans from their bodies was supernatural itself.
Women were then even blamed for storms and droughts. Men feared that women might gain power, so they dominated them with brute strength and used them as scapegoats. Joan of Arc was tried for heresy, but political power was the real issue involved.”
“The witches were the healers, the midwives, the chemists made from herbs, the seers, they were revered in the old religions before Christianity and the other religions came on the scene.”

Recession...might be best time to buy remodeling supplies?

Hi all,
I was just thinking about my construction and remodeling sub domain. It isn't generating as much income as I expected. Perhaps it's because of the economy. But then I was also thinking, it might actually be the best time to buy right now. The prices might be lower, and we all know that with winter and the holidays coming, prices will go up. So why not buy what you need from these people while the prices are relatively low?

A Lesson Learned From A Mayonnaise Jar And Two Beers

Working on the internet is often overwhelming. There's always more to know, more to learn and more to do than seems possible.

When you're feeling overwhelmed, when it seems almost too much to handle, when 24 hours in a day are not enough, remember this story of the mayonnaise jar and the two beers.

A professor stood before his philosophy class with a few simple items on the table before him.

He picked up a very large, empty mayonnaise jar and proceeded to fill it with golf balls.

He then asked the students if the jar was full. They agreed that it was.

The professor then picked up a box of pebbles and poured them into the jar He shook the jar lightly.
The pebbles rolled into the open areas between the golf balls.

He then asked the students again if the jar was full. They agreed it was.

The professor next picked up a box of sand and poured it into the jar. Of course, the sand filled up the last remaining little spaces.

He asked once more if the jar was full.
The students responded with a unanimous 'Yes.'

The professor then produced two bottles of beer from under the table and poured the entire contents into the jar, filling the empty space between the sand.
The students laughed.

'Now,' said the professor as the laughter subsided, 'I want you to recognize that this jar represents your life."

"The golf balls are the important things: your family, your children, your health, your friends. If everything else was lost and only they remained, your life would still be full. "

"The pebbles are the other things that matter like your job, your house, your car and your other possessions."

"The sand is everything else---the small stuff."

"If you put the sand into the jar first," he continued, "there is no room for the pebbles or the golf balls. The same goes for life."

"Pay attention to the things that are critical to your happiness. Spend time with your children. Spend time with your parents. Visit with grandparents. Take time to get medical checkups. Take your spouse out to dinner.
Play another 18 holes."

"A moose was out walking and came across a trailor. He walked up to the window and looked inside. He went away shaking his head. When he arrived home, he says to Mrs. Moose, "You wouldn't believe what I just saw!"
"What did you see, Mr. Moose?" she asked.
"I just saw what I think were humans living in a can. But instead of it being round, it was rectangular."
"Who would've thought such a thing possible?" Mrs. Moose said.

Even with all that's been going on in my life, I've still managed to get a GPA of 4.0
I think that's pretty good, and I'm damn proud of myself. Way to go!
In case you might think I'm just full of myself, I'm not. But with moving, not having internet for a month, (even though I'm attending an online school), and running a business as well as babysitting a couple of times a week, I still managed to keep my grades up. The odds might have seemed to be against me, but it still worked in my favor. So yeah I am proud of myself.

Great Dog Story and well worth the reading!!!!!
They told me the big black Lab's name was Reggie as I looked at him lying in his pen. The shelter was clean, no-kill, and the people really friendly. I'd only been in the area for six months, but everywhere I went in the small college town, people were welcoming and open.
Everyone waves when you pass them on the street.

But something was still missing as I attempted to settle in to my new life here, and I thought a dog couldn't hurt. Give me someone to talk to.
And I had just seen Reggie's advertisement on the local news. The shelter said they had received numerous calls right after, but they said the people who had come down to see him just didn't look like "Lab people," whatever that meant. They must've thought I did.

But at first, I thought the shelter had misjudged me in giving me Reggie and his things, which consisted of a dog pad, bag of toys almost all of which were brand new tennis balls, his dishes, and a sealed letter from his previous owner. See, Reggie and I didn't really hit it off when we got home. We struggled for two weeks (which is how long the shelter told me to give him to adjust to his new home). Maybe it was the fact that I was trying to adjust, too. Maybe we were too much alike.

For some reason, his stuff (except for the tennis balls - he wouldn't go anywhere without two stuffed in his mouth) got tossed in with all of my other unpacked boxes. I guess I didn't really think he'd need all his old stuff, that I'd get him new things once he settled in, but it became pretty clear pretty soon that he wasn't going to.

I tried the normal commands the shelter told me he knew, ones like "sit" and "stay" and "come" and "heel," and he'd follow them - when he felt like it. He never really seemed to listen when I called his name - sure, he'd look in my direction after the fourth of fifth time I said it, but then he'd just go back to doing whatever. When I'd ask again, you could almost see him sigh and then grudgingly obey.

This just wasn't going to work. He chewed a couple shoes and some unpacked boxes. I was a little too stern with him and he resented it, I could tell. The friction got so bad that I couldn't wait for the two weeks to be up, and when it was, I was in full-on search mode for my cell phone amid all of my unpacked stuff. I remembered leaving it on the stack of boxes for the guest room, but I also mumbled, rather cynically, that the "damn dog probably hid it on me."

Finally I found it, but before I could punch up the shelter's number, I also found his pad and other toys from the shelter. I tossed the pad in Reggie's direction and he snuffed it and wagged, some of the most enthusiasm I'd seen since bringing him home. But then I called, "Hey, Reggie, you like that? Come here and I'll give you a treat." Instead, he sort of glanced in my direction - maybe "glared" is more accurate - and then gave a discontented sigh and flopped down with his back to me.

Well, that's not going to do it either, I thought. And I punched the shelter phone number.
But I hung up when I saw the sealed envelope. I had completely forgotten about that, too. "Okay, Reggie," I said out loud, "let's see if your previous owner has any advice."....

To Whoever Gets My Dog:
Well, I can't say that I'm happy you're reading this letter. I told the shelter could only be opened by Reggie's new owner.
I'm not even happy writing it. If you're reading this, it means I just got back from my last car ride with my Lab after dropping him off at the shelter. He knew something was different. I have packed up his pad and toys before and set them by the back door before a trip, but this time... it's like he knew something was wrong. And something is wrong... which is why I have to go to try to make it right.

So let me tell you about my Lab in the hopes that it will help you bond with him and he with you.

First, he loves tennis balls, the more the merrier. Sometimes I think he's part squirrel, the way he hordes them. He usually always has two in his mouth, and he tries to get a third in there. Hasn't done it yet. Doesn't matter where you throw them, he'll bound after it, so be careful - really don't do it by any roads. I made that mistake once, and it almost cost him dearly.*

Next; commands. Maybe the shelter staff already told you, but I'll go over them again: Reggie knows the obvious ones - "sit," "stay," "come," "heel." He knows hand signals: "back" to turn around and go back when you put your hand straight up; and "over" if you put your hand out right or left. "Shake" for shaking water off, and "paw" for a high-five. He does "down" when he feels like lying down - I bet you could work on that with him some more. He knows "ball" and "food" and "bone" and "treat" like nobody's business.

I trained Reggie with small food treats. Nothing opens his ears like little pieces of hot dog.

Feeding schedule: twice a day, once about seven in the morning, and again at six in the evening. Regular store-bought stuff; the shelter has the brand.

He's up on his shots. Call the clinic on 9th Street and update his info with yours; they'll make sure to send you reminders for when he's due. Be forewarned: Reggie hates the vet. Good luck getting him in the car - I don't know how he knows when it's time to go to the vet, but he knows.

Finally, give him some time. I've never been married, so it's only been Reggie and me for his whole life. He's gone everywhere with me, so please include him on your daily car rides if you can. He sits well in the backseat, and he doesn't bark or complain. He just loves to be around people and me most especially, which means that this transition is going to be hard, with him going to live with someone new.

And that's why I need to share one more bit of info with you.... His name's not Reggie.

I don't know what made me do it, but when I dropped him off at the shelter, I told them his name was Reggie. He's a smart dog, he'll get used to it and will respond to it, of that I have no doubt, but I just couldn't bear to give them his real name. For me to do that, it seemed so final, that handing him over to the shelter was as good as me admitting that I'd never see him again. And if I end up coming back, getting him, and tearing up this letter, it means everything's fine. But if someone else is reading it, well... well it means that his new owner should know his real name. It'll help you bond with him. Who knows, maybe you'll even notice a change in his demeanor if he's been giving you problems.

His real name is Tank, because that is what I drive.

Again, if you're reading this and you're from the area, maybe my name has been on the news. I told the shelter that they couldn't make "Reggie" available for adoption until they received word from my company commander. See, my parents are gone, I have no siblings, no one I could've left Tank with... and it was my only real request of the Army upon my deployment to Iraq, that they make one phone call the shelter... in the "event"... to tell them that Tank could be put up for adoption. Luckily, my colonel is a dog guy, too, and he knew where my platoon was headed. He said he'd do it personally. And if you're reading this, then he made good on his word.

Well, this letter is getting to downright depressing, even though, frankly, I'm just writing it for my dog. I couldn't imagine if I was writing it for a wife and kids and family. But still, Tank has been my family for the last six years, almost as long as the Army has been my family.

And now I hope and pray that you make him part of your family and that he will adjust and come to love you the same way he loved me.
That unconditional love from a dog is what I took with me to Iraq as an inspiration to do something selfless, to protect innocent people from those who would do terrible things... and to keep those terrible people from coming over here. If I had to give up Tank in order to do it, I am glad to have done so. He was my example of service and of love. I hope I honored him by my service to my country and comrades.

All right, that's enough. I deploy this evening and have to drop this letter off at the shelter. I don't think I'll say another good-bye to Tank, though. I cried too much the first time. Maybe I'll peek in on him and see if he finally got that third tennis ball in his mouth.

Good luck with Tank. Give him a good home, and give him an extra kiss goodnight – every night - from me.

I folded the letter and slipped it back in the envelope. Sure I had heard of Paul Mallory, everyone in town knew him, even new people like me. Local kid, killed in Iraq a few months ago and posthumously earning the Silver Star when he gave his life to save three buddies. Flags had been at half-mast all summer.

I leaned forward in my chair and rested my elbows on my knees, staring at the dog.

"Hey, Tank," I said quietly. The dog's head whipped up, his ears cocked and his eyes bright.
"C'mere boy."

He was instantly on his feet, his nails clicking on the hardwood floor. He sat in front of me, his head tilted, searching for the name he hadn't heard in months.

"Tank," I whispered.
His tail swished.

I kept whispering his name, over and over, and each time, his ears lowered, his eyes softened, and his posture relaxed as a wave of contentment just seemed to flood him. I stroked his ears, rubbed his shoulders, buried my face into his scruff and hugged him.

"It's me now, Tank, just you and me. Your old pal gave you to me." Tank reached up and licked my cheek. "So what da ya say we play some balls? His ears perked again. "Yeah? Ball? You like that? Ball?" Tank tore from my hands and disappeared in the next room. And when he came back, he had three tennis balls in his mouth.
This is a heart warming and inspiring story.

New Post...been a long time

I'm taking time out from homework to write this. It's been too long and many things have happened since my last post. I've moved yet again. Must be gypsy blood in my veins...lol...no offense to the Romany people.
I'm doing fairly well, but I'd sure like to be doing a helluva lot better. Hopefully I'll be getting my internet service on in 09/09. Then I can get caught up on both school work and business.
Things are kinda hard right now, but I see them as getting better. As my daughter says, regardless of what life throws at us, we always end up on our feet. You'd think we were part cat, I suppose. LOL
I personally think it has to do with being flexible. I'm still running the online business, although I'll probably let the ravnone1 site go. Then I can concentrate on making ninasproducts.com better, and I intend on re-doing the site again after I get the internet on. Also I'm going ahead with getting my Associate's Degree in Web Design and Development. I think it will enhance my business, as well as make me feel damn good about myself.

Hi All,
Of course I have a life. And yet, I hear people telling others to 'get a life.' Or hearing someone say that about someone. I suppose it depends on their definition of 'get a life'. Personally, I don't care.
I go to school, albeit online. I run a business, and I babysit my gkids. I read, watch a few movies or shows. I do a many things, and yet I've had people say to me, "I don't see how you spend so much time on the computer. I'd drive me crazy."
I happen to like spending time on the computer. It's always changing, so I'm learning new things all the time. I conduct my business over the internet, on a computer. I attend class, do research, do homework assignments, all online. It does make it more convenient for me.
I have ADHD, and I'm an empath. So being online, or reading ebooks on the computer, as well as the aforementioned items, keep me from being bored. Besides which, if I'm here, I'm less likely to make an impulsive decision and get my butt in trouble.
So for those who don't understand, that's a personal problem. Yours, not mine.
I have a very good life. Thank you.

Surviving a Cytokine Storm, Brought to You Courtesy of the New World Order

Trillions for Tribute, But Not One Cent for Defense

The US declared, when faced with the demands of the Barbary Pirates who controlled the shipping routes of the Mediterranean around North Africa, Representative Robert Goodloe Harper, declared “Millions for defense, but not one cent for tribute.” The concept is deeply enshrined in the consciousness of the US and is the meaning of the reference “To the shores of Tripoli” in the Marine’s Hymn, learned by every child in America.

Like so much else in the US, for example, the protections and provisions of the US Constitution, that deep understanding has been violated by the grim and terrible grasp of the Pharma Pirates on our lives. We do, in fact, pay trillions of dollars, and billions of person years of suffering and death, as tribute to the pirates who control our national and personal decisions with lies and more lies - Big Pharma. When the people of America learn to “Say No to Drugs”, we will have moved a long way toward freeing ourselves from the tribute and tyranny of the Phama Pirates.Pandemic Flu is thought to kill people because the immune system recognizes that it has encountered a pathogen (disease - causing agent, in this case a virus) and sends out signaling molecules called cytokines, (Greek cyto-, cell; and -kinos, movement). They can be proteins, peptides, or glycoproteins. Once those signals are received, the immune system springs into action and mounts a defense. In the case of the weaponized pandemic viruses, the defense can be so strong that it literally overwhelms the person who has been infected and causes death because the immune system itself has overwhelmed the lungs, leading to so much inflammation that they cannot carry out their essential function of exchanging gases.

Cytokine Storms and the Pharma Pirates

Cytokines are powerful signaling molecules which cells sends out in order to get a response. The word itself comes from the Greek for cell (cyto) and movement (kinos).
Pandemic, bioengineered virus are believe to kill by evoking a massive cytokine response, called a “cytokine storm” which is so powerful that the immune system itself overwhelms the lung capacity of the infected person and the number of immune cells, along with the massive inflammation (which is an immune technique to isolate an infective agent) fills up the lungs so they cannot carry out their job of exchanging gases and the patient dies.

But like any storm, it will abate and normal conditions can prevail again. If the cytokine storm provoked as an initial response to the virus can be managed for approximately 3 days, the body’s immune response is normalized, becomes more efficient, and it then kills out the virus in the ordinary way that it usually does. The result is called “surviving the pandemic flu”. H1N1 appears to be pretty poor at evoking a lethal cytokine storm.

I would call it another in the growing list of failed pandemics: SARS, Avian Flu, Swine Flu….

The WHO and CDC, however, have assured us that we can expect a lethal global pandemic from this same virus in the fall of 2009, just exactly, we are told, when the vaccine “against” this newly lethal killer virus is ready. We are astonished and awed by the ability of these organizations to predict the future and prepare for it so profitably. The billions spent on the absurd Avian Flu (H5N1) vaccines and the useless failed Rumsfeld antiviral, Tamiflu, of course, are now simply black lines on the spreadsheets of Big Pharma, another example of the monumental depravity of that industry and its governmental (and intergovernmental) servants, including the Oval Office.

In the document called “Concept of Operations of the UN In a Global Influenza Pandemic”, the final footnote (p.10) reads:

The procedures contained in this CONOPS framework will need to be tested at global, regional and country level to ensure their utility and allow for revisions where necessary. Several UN country teams have already conducted simulations to test coordination structures and other procedures outlines in their pandemic plans. Further simulation exercises at regional and global level are needed to test coordination structures and operating procedures. Such large scale simulations will require the commitment of different UN entities. It is anticipated that this CONOPS will continue to be tested through simulation exercises at global, regional and country levels during 2009. [Emphasis added - REL]

That looks very much to me like the reason that the failed pandemic of 2009 is being pursued as if it were a threat to anyone. Right now it is a real threat, but it is a threat to our liberty, our nations, our freedoms. Later this fall, if the plans hold, it would appear that the bad boy version will be ready and released - probably through the vaccines which we will be expected to line up for willingly. Remember, if you do not line up for them willingly, you will be subject to the federal powers which our spineless Congress has authorized and to the same powers of the States under their Emergency Medical Powers Acts. Those powers define you as a felon if you refuse vaccination once a Pandemic has been declared at the State level and a health hazard at the federal level. Once so identified, you are subject to immediate long-term incarceration and quarantine. At the state level, as a felon, you could be sent to prison. At the federal level you could be held indefinitely at one of the many FEMA camps which have been established all over the US (and Canada?).

So the storm is political, global and physical, all at once.

Before I discuss how to safely quell a cytokine storm, let me ask you a question or two:
Did you vote for the dissolution of your country in this last election?
Are you eager to have the UN run a global government?
Do you think that the UN would ever hand back control to the nation states after the pandemic is over, if it ever IS over?
Do you agree with the globalist position that the solution to global warming and overpopulation is population culling so that 80-90% of the world’s population no longer exists? If so, are you willing to step up and volunteer yourself and your family for the culling?

Quelling the Storm

So how do you control a cytokine storm without subjecting yourself to even more dangerous drugs? Simple. There are many well known natural means of doing so.

First and foremost is Vitamin C. Good ole’, familiar Vitamin C. When your body needs vitamin C, which we have somehow misplaced the gene which allows us to make during the course of our development, it tolerates more. So you need to give it more. How much more? Well, as much as you can cram in during a cytokine storm (and in the face of a full blown infection with a pandemic, bioengineered virus) - I prefer intravenous delivery systems so that up to 300 G per day can be delivered for 3 days. Since part of the impact of these viruses seems to be a cataclysmic depletion of the body’s Vitamin C stores, this is very important.

By the way, when I first published this information, I was roundly castigated by a variety of people who should have known better. Shortly thereafter, they began publishing this information as if it were their own. Ah, well! The real point is to get it out there where it can help people, but an accurate attribution would be nice!

If IV administration is not possible (and it would not be available for most people), then ingesting LARGE amounts of oral Vitamin C would be the way to go. The body will tell you when it has had enough Vitamin C: bowel tolerance is the signal that its needs have been met. That means diarrhea or softening of stools. However, the novel H1N1 virus produces diarrhea as a part of its infection process so I would say ignore that sign and just put lots and lots of Vitamin C into the patient. There is no known level of toxicity for Vitamin C and it is a powerful immune support - which is why Big Pharma, through Codex, would love to restrict it to the point that there is no useful dose available.

Should you stock pile Vitamin C? I believe you should. Should you use Vitamin C from GMO sources? Of course not. That means that it must be organic. You can visit www.Organics4U.org to find organic Vitamin C sources. Non GMO sourcing is a vitally important consideration, by the way.

Next, Nano silver. As you know, Nano silver is different from colloidal or other silver types. It is literally a myth and not a real concern.”)

On to the Engineered Pandemic

The predicted, or perhaps I should say, “promised” pandemic may very well be upon us. This is, as sure as God made little green apples, a totally man-made event, with a totally man-made pathogen (disease-causing agent). The WHO, US Government and MMD (media of mass deception) have been ramping up, ramping up, ramping up. But there is no honest virologist in the world who can look you in the eye and say that this virus had any chance whatsoever of having self-assembled genes from Eurasian, North American and other Swine Flu, Avian Flu (already weaponized with the genes of the 1918 Pandemic Virus?) and human viruses, sprung, like Venus from the brow of Zeus on April 14 in Mexico City and then, suddenly it has deadly potential around the globe… without a whole lot of help from its friends.

Deadly potential, by the way, is pretty weird here. There is little doubt that the death toll in Mexico is much higher than previously reported. How high we may never really know.

But there is also little doubt that there is no reason to have declared a “Health Emergency” in the US for a disease which has impacted fewer than 20 people and killed none of them. What pandemic? Who pandemic? Could it be that this pandemic is a totally orchestrated event to make sure that there is an excuse for closing down those few liberties and constitutional rights which still exist after the last devastating 8 years? The “left neocons” continuing the process the “right neocons” started?

I was reading an update from a Chinese site yesterday. It stated that the US, with 20 non fatal cases, had declared a “Health Emergency”, The same site noted that there had been a fatal train wreck in a remote part of China and 21 people were dead. I noted with interest that China did not declare a “Train Emergency”.

Bear in mind that once a global pandemic is declared, just as the US assumes supreme dictatorial powers through Patriot I, II, III, BARDA and other legislation, Executive Orders and Homeland Security Directives, and as the States assume similar powers through the Emergency Medical Powers Acts, passed at the urging of the Homeland Security cabal, so the UN will, according to already prearranged agreement, become the supreme political governing force on the planet.

World government, “elected” by a lowly virus… and an engineered one, at that.

Interestingly enough, of course, it was the Angel of Change, Barak Obama, who, along with then Senator Biden, proposed to the US Congress that a head tax be paid by every man, woman and child in the US to support the UN and that the US military be placed under the authority of the UN, that is, of the New World Order.

I would call that change, all right. And I would say that it may be that a non-pandemic Pandemic just might work to get them what they are looking for.

What will it get you?
Vaccinated with a Weaponized Vaccine.

I have the reports of several Mexican doctors who tell us that their colleagues were vaccinated and died. Vaccinated with what, you may ask? Now that is a really good question. Remembering that the CDC claims that it already has a “seed stock” from this virus which first appeared, they say, on April 14 in Mexico, that is pretty good work.

My research says that it takes quite a lot longer to make the seed stock, the purified and characterized virus, from which vaccines can be made.

And then it takes an absolute minimum of 4 months, if you are favored by the vaccine-making gods, to get yourself a vaccine.

Now, that vaccine may or may not provide any ‘immunity’ against the virus or other organism you are hoping it will protect you from.

Again, according to my research, there is literally NO disinterested evidence to suggest that vaccines provide any sort of protection from any sort of disease (I know, this is heresy to the vaccine priests and their followers - sorry, I am compelled to speak the truth as real science tells us). We do know, however, that vaccination damages the immune system in a rather horrific number of ways. Despite the ‘white wash’ and fol-de-roll, that is simply the science of the matter.

So now we have a new virus, clearly man-made, against which doctors in Mexico are being vaccinated within less than 2 weeks of its being discovered. And they are dying, according to our sources.

What does that tell us? To my mind, it tells us that the entire purpose of this exercise is two fold:

(1) to get those vaccines into your body and
(2) to tie down global control of the planet.

There is no way whatsoever that a vaccine, which is specific to a particular organism, can be effective, to the extent that it is ever effective, against another organism. NONE. Even the CDC admitted earlier today that existing flu vaccine supplies were not “effective” against this Swine Flu (according to CNN).

But, what will the vaccines do? Consider what happened in January when Baxter Pharmaceuticals “accidentally” contaminated shipments of seasonal flu vaccines to 18 countries with live Avian Flu virus. If that “mistake” (how did that live virus get into the very secure vaccine factory?) had not been discovered, there would already be an Avian Flu pandemic… so now, that weaponization having failed, we get the Swine Flu “incident…”

Many people have been asking us what they can do to feel less helpless in the face of the possible weaponized flu pandemic about which we have been raising the alarm over the past months. While we are watching closely. We are not totally convinced that the current crisis is a true pandemic, despite the fact that the WHO elevated the threat level a few hours ago from “3″ o “4″. Treat the forced vaccination as though it were the assault on your immune system that it surely will be.

I cannot say what will help, but every bit of mercury, aluminum, fluoride, formaldehyde, squalene, aspartame, MSG, Polysorbate 80 and other toxins you can get out of your body, is better than than that same poison in your body.

“Research suggests certain natural foods may be as effective against virus H5N1
as commercial antivirals.

(PRWEB) May 10, 2006 — A Biology teacher from Australia, named Stephen Jones,
has done extensive research into the H5N1 virus and compiled a list of natural
foods that are effective against it and listed others that are detrimental.

The list may come as a surprise to many people since foods such as spirulina
and echinacea are listed as detrimental. This strange occurrence is largely
due to the fact that the virus is immune to 2 cytokines that the body produces
(TNF-a and IL-6). Cytokines are compounds produced by the body’s immune system
that attack and remove foreign bodies. The problem is that when a foreign body
is immune to certain cytokines, the body sees that its immune response is not
working and tries even harder, which can lead to what is called a cytokine
storm, where the body becomes flooded with these compounds and they eventually
destroy the body itself. Foods such as Echinacea actually stimulate the
production of these specific cytokines; hence consuming it is not a good idea
if one suspects they may have the virus.

During the 1918 Spanish Flu many healthy young people died from cytokine
storms due to their immune systems overreacting. Consuming foods which
suppress the production of cytokines TNF-a and IL-6 and enhance the production
of the ones that actually are effective against the virus will aid the patient
greatly.

Other foods that create mucous in the respiratory tract, such as bananas, are
also listed as detrimental due to the fact that the predominant breeding
ground of the virus is the respiratory tract and another way in which a
patient may suffer is due to the body’s over production of mucous in this
area.

Folk Medicines and Herbs to use and avoid with Bird Flu

Below is a list of foods that are said to contain substances that are natural
antivirals, immune boosters or they decrease cytokines TNF-a and IL-6.

Alternative medications that are most likely to help us during a severe
pandemic:

Garlic (allicin) - Very effective antiviral. Best if fresh (raw) and crushed.
Must be consumed within 1 hour of crushing. Dosage is initially 2 to 3 cloves
per day but later reduce until no body odour occurs. No toxic effects noted.

Vitamin C - Boosts the immune system and is an antiviral by blocking the
enzyme neurominadase. Viruses need neurominadase to reproduce. There are
anecdotal stories of people taking large amounts of Vitamin C (children ½)
surviving the Spanish Flu. Research shows that it may reduce the production of
cytokines TNF-a and IL-6. A study on 470 people involved giving the test group
1000 mg hourly for 6 hours and then 1000 mg 3 times daily after reporting flu
symptoms. Symptoms decreased by 85%. (Pubmed PMID 10543583, 634178, 16169205,
12876306)

Green Tea (possible Tamiflu/Relenza alternative)- Very effective antiviral.
Also decreases the production of the cytokine (catechins) TNF-a. Inhibits
neurominidase. May have antiviral activity that is equal to other antivirals
such as Tamiflu. (Pubmed PMID 16137775)

St Johns Wort (Hypericum) - Very effective antiviral. Also decreases the
production of the cytokine IL-6. Hypericum is an extract from St John’s Wort.
There have been some very successful field trials in commercial flocks
infected with H5N1 in Vietnam. (Pubmed PMID 7857513, 11518071, 11362353,
7857513, 11518071)

Vitamin E - Immune booster. Also decreases the production of the cytokine
TNF-a. (Pubmed PMID 155882360, 10929076) Experiments involved using mice. Very
suitable for immune compromised people, especially the elderly. Effects
enhanced when taken with Vitamin C.

Apple Juice - Antiviral. Fresh apple juice including the pulp and skin has
greater antiviral activity than heated commercial apple juice. More research
is needed. Effectiveness on H5N1 is unknown. (Pubmed PMID 32832, 12452634)

Resveratrol - Antiviral. In addition to inhibiting neuraminidase, Resveratrol
also sends a message to cells to stop manufacturing viruses. This is a proven
antiviral found naturally in red wine, peanuts, mulberries, Japanese Knotwood
root (richest source), raisins and red grapes. Resveratrol supplements are
relatively inexpensive, are more stable than wine and is available in liquid
form for absorption in the mouth. No toxic effects noted. (Pubmed PMID
1583880, 12817628, 15985724)

Scuttellaria (Skullcap) - Antiviral. A herb used as a tea. It has no side
effects and is also a mild tranquillizer. Research suggests neurominidase,
which is a substance needed by the H5N1 virus to reproduce, may be inhibited.

Cranberry Juice - Early research shows that it may be an antiviral, making
viruses less able to invade or multiply. Effectiveness on H5N1 is unknown.

Cat’s Claw (Uncaria tomentosa) - Decreases the production of the cytokine
TNF-a. Also boosts immune system. The number of white blood cells was
significantly increased during treatment. No toxicity was noted.

constituents can be found in the leaves, bark, vine, and roots. Water
extraction from bark used. Children and pregnant women are to avoid. Has a
potentially damaging effect on the DNA of proliferating cells. (cancers,
fetuses, growing children)

Curcumin (Tumeric Spice) - Decreases the production of the cytokine TNF-a.
This is the yellow compound in turmeric spice. Research shows that this may be
very good for preventing a cytokine storm although this is not proven. Must be
taken with food or gastritis or peptic ulcers may occur. Pregnant women and
feeding mothers should avoid this. The medicinal properties of curcurmin
cannot be utilized when used alone due to rapid metabolism in the liver and
intestinal wall. When combined with Piperine found in black pepper the
absorption is increased with no adverse effects. Obtainable from health stores
in tablets, liquid, capsules already combined with piperine. Dosage is 500mg
to 4000mg daily.

Astragalus root (Astragali Radix) - Boosts immune system. (Pubmed
PMID15588652)

Tea tree Steam Inhalation - Reduces the cytokine TNF-a. Add 2 drops of tea
tree oil in a bowl of steaming water. Cover head with a towel and inhale for 5
to 10 minutes. Relieves congestion and fights infection. Its effectiveness is
unknown. (Pubmed PMID 11131302)

The following substances may be best to avoid during a H5N1 pandemic

Elderberry juice (Sambucal) - AVOID - Increases production of cytokines TNF-a
and IL-6. This substance is very effective against the common flu but may not
be desirable for the H5N1 virus. Increases in these cytokines may trigger a
lethal cytokine storm. (Isr Med Journal2002 Nov;4:944-6)

Micro Algae (Chlorella and Spirulina) - AVOID - Increases production of
cytokine TNF-a. (Pubmed PMID 11731916)

Honey - AVOID - Increases production of cytokines TNF-a and IL-6. (Pubmed

Chocolate - AVOID - Increases production of cytokines TNF-a and IL-6. (Pubmed

Echinacea - AVOID - Increases production of cytokines TNF-a and IL-6. Although
it is often used for normal flu, research shows that it may increase the
chance of cytokine storms for H5N1. (Pubmed PMID 15556647, 9568541)

Kimchi - AVOID - Increases production of cytokines TNF-a and IL-6. (Pubmed

Dairy products & Bananas - AVOID - These foods increase mucous production.

“April 28, 2009 - Swine flu is a respiratory illness in pigs caused by a virus. Mexico’s
government is ordering closed schools nationwide as the suspected death toll
from swine flu climbed to 149. Health Secretary Jose Angel Cordova says only
20 of the deaths have been confirmed to be from swine flu and the government
was awaiting tests results on the rest. He says 1,995 have been hospitalized
with serious cases of pneumonia since the first case of swine flu was
reported on April 13. Alarmingly, the flu outbreak in Mexico is striking
healthy young people — a pattern that would be expected if a flu virus new
to humans emerged…

Officials in Mexico and the U.S. are taking emergency steps to contain
what is believed to be a new multi-strain swine flu. “If the confirmed
deaths are the first signs of a pandemic, then cases are probably incubating
around the world by now,” said Dr. Michael Osterholm, a pandemic flu expert
at the University of Minnesota. The Mexican Swine Flu has elements of DNA
from the following: avian flu, human flu Type A, human flu Type B, Asian
swine flu, and European swine flu. Human and animal viruses from four or
more continents suddenly recombine in a new flu during a non-flu season that
spreads from human-to-human with a 10% fatality
rating.

Just last month Baxter Pharmaceuticals was caught shipping a mix of H3N2
seasonal flu viruses and unlabelled H5N1 viruses. Baxter released
contaminated flu virus material from a plant in Austria, which contained
live H5N1 avian flu viruses. 2

In Mexico City children rarely use the color blue when they paint the
sky. The atmospheric pollution in the Mexican capital, one of the world’s
biggest cities, is one of the most severe air pollution cases in the world.
Contaminated air hangs over its population of more than 20 million people
doing damage to children’s lungs causing chronic lung diseases when they are
adults. Perched at 7,300 feet in a bowl-shaped valley where the air is thin,
vehicle fumes get trapped and you might as well be living in a gas chamber.
It is that bad and this explains in part why we are finding deaths from the
flu concentrated there with no deaths reported outside of Mexico to this
date. Even the healthy are sick. Full of toxins, they are medically speaking
“accidents waiting to happen,” so when a strong flu strain strikes such a
population the death rate will be very high. The cause of death is
debatable! …

*Infections cannot be separated from the conditions that
invite pathogens to proliferate. This seems to boggle the
minds of orthodox medical scientists, who like the blind men
and the elephant, seem to be able to focus on one thing at a time.*

We live in a dangerous world and anything that throws us out of balance
invites pathogens to take up residence in our bodies. If this is the
beginning of the pandemic that health officials have been warning about it
is best to begin preparing your body before the flu strikes. This article
offers natural emergency medicine that addresses both the body’s terrain and
the potential pathogens quickly. Starting with the most basic medicine, we
need to address dehydration and the use of water and mineral salts as
medicines first.

*Dehydration Dangers*

Complications of flu can include bacterial pneumonia, ear infections,
sinus infections, dehydration, and worsening of chronic medical conditions,
such as congestive heart failure, asthma, or diabetes. Many underestimate
seasonal flu’s severity and neglect treating dehydration, a survey of U.S.
physicians and consumers found. Fifty-seven percent of doctors surveyed said
they considered dehydration the single most dangerous flu side effect.
“Severe flu symptoms like fever and body aches often keep patients from
taking in adequate fluids,” said Dr. Leanne M. Chrisman-Khawam of Case
Western Reserve University in Cleveland. “By managing symptoms, one will be
more likely to manage their dehydration as well.” …

The blood is 80 percent water thus hydration levels are extremely
important in blood chemistry. Moderate dehydration, a 3-5% decrease in body
weight due to fluid loss is sufficient to result in a substantial decrease
in strength and endurance because of the *decrease in oxygen carrying
capacity of the blood signaling a drop in Zeta potential.* Proper hydration
is thus the most basic preventative medicine against death from any type of
flu.

*Mercury Exposure = Increased Vulnerability*

Chronic mercury exposure is also a threat to our health and makes us
especially vulnerable to flu infections. It has been shown that “prolonged
exposure of mammals (white mice) to low mercury concentrations (0.008 – 0.02
mg/m3) leads to a significant increase in the susceptibility of mice to
pathological influenza virus strains. This is shown by more severe course of
infection. In the experimental group more mice died (86 – 90.3 %) than in
the unexposed animals (60.2 – 68 %), additionally the experimental group
died more quickly. The significant difference was in the appearance and
degree of pneumonia in the effected animals,” wrote Dr. I. M. Trakhtenberg
in *Chronic Effects of Mercury on Organisms.*

Though everyone in the northern hemisphere is contaminated with mercury
health officials have a mental block against suggesting anything that might
reduce total mercury body burden. Though some dedicated health activists are
cracking the FDA’s endorsement of mercury dental amalgam it will take a
Martian death ray to get them to protect the public from the obvious.
Natural chelation methods work safely to remove mercury but unfortunately,
if this is the dreaded flu outbreak, there will be little time to reduce
mercury levels. Much can still be accomplished with the emergency protocol
suggested below. Mercury exposure will make flu symptoms worse and even more
dangerous, and that is one reason the flu vaccine is deadly because most
brands include thimerosal, which almost fifty percent mercury.

Several other mercury fighters have a place in the flu battlefield. In
addition to binding mercury into a fairly harmless complex, selenium is a
very good inflammation fighter even in small concentrations. N-acetyl
L-cysteine, an antioxidant and glutathione precursor, stimulates production
of this master antioxidant and, among other things, boosts the immune system
and has anti-inflammatory properties. Alpha-lipoic acid, another mercury
mover, acts as a powerful anti-inflammatory agent, while protecting the
mitochondria and reducing cellular inflammation. Learn about them before you

*Iodine, the Universal Pathogen Killer*

As early as June 1, 1905 an article was printed in the New York Times about the
successful use of iodine for consumption/tuberculosis. Though
iodine kills most pathogens on the skin within 90 seconds, its use as an
antibiotic/antiviral/antifungal has been completely ignored by modern
medicine. Iodine exhibits activity against bacteria, molds, yeasts,
protozoa, and many viruses; indeed, of all antiseptic preparations suitable
for direct use on humans and animals and upon tissues, only iodine is
capable of killing *all classes of pathogens*: gram-positive and
gram-negative bacteria, mycobacteria, fungi, yeasts, viruses and
protozoa. *Most bacteria are killed within 15 to 30 seconds of contact.*

Dr. Derry says iodine is effective “for standard pathogens such as
Staphylococcus, but also iodine has the broadest range of action, fewest
side effects and no development of bacterial resistance.” Some doctors have
reported that it is excellent for the treatment of mononucleosis. Iodine
kills single-celled organisms by combining with the amino acids tyrosine or
histidine when exposed to the extracellular environment. All single cells
(pathogens) showing tyrosine on their outer cell membranes are killed
instantly by a simple chemical reaction with iodine that denatures proteins.
Nature and evolution have given us an important mechanism to control
pathogenic life forms, and we should use it and trust it to protect us in

Dr. David Brownstein, author of *Iodine – Why You Need It,* uses iodine
extensively in his practice and says, “Iodine is a wonderful antibiotic
solution without question and most importantly *I never see any of my
patients complain of dysbiotic reactions from its use.” *Because

utilizes the innate powers of the immune system as a therapeutic agent will
have the greatest benefit to sick patients. The body’s ability to resist
infection and disease is hindered by long-term deficiency in essential
vitamins and minerals including that of iodine. Poor immune response is
correlated with impaired thyroid function; *a deficiency in iodine can
greatly affect the immune system* because low levels of iodine lead to
problems with the thyroid gland.

I personally talked to a missionary, Stephen Fisher, in Zambia on the
phone last year who told me about his very successful use of iodine to treat
people with malaria. He used 20 drops of Nascent Iodine in a half glass of
water given 4 or 5 times during the first day and then decreased the dose to
10 drops of Nascent Iodine 4 times a day for 3 more days, although higher
dosages can be administered for much longer since iodine is a nutritional
medicine that is needed by the body. Such a protocol can be used for the
swine flu or any other type of influenza. Brownstein and others use much
higher dosages of other iodine forms, namely Lugol’s and Iodoral for cancer treatment.
If you are interested in high dose usage, please read one of the books by
Dr. Brownstein or myself for more details on how to do so.

The minimum number of iodine molecules required to destroy one
bacterium varies with the species. For H. influenzae it was calculated to be
15000 molecules of iodine per cell. When bacteria are treated with iodine,
the inorganic phosphate up-take and oxygen consumption by the cells
immediately ceases. Thus the antiseptic properties of iodine are used to
sterilize every surface and material in hospitals. Iodine is an excellent
microbicide with a broad range of action that includes almost all of the
important health-related microorganisms, such as enteric bacteria, enteric
viruses, bacterial viruses, fungi and protozoan
cysts.

The tremendous diversity and mutability of many infections and their
ability to intelligently exploit the cells is one of the main reasons we
should return to iodine as our favored broad spectrum antibiotic, anti-viral
and anti fungal agent. Iodine provides us with a safe way to strengthen
innate responses to invading microbes while simultaneously correcting or
eliminating a basic nutritional deficiency that causes immunological
unresponsiveness.

*Iodine is able to penetrate quickly
through the cell walls of microorganisms.*

Iodine is a deadly enemy of single cell microorganisms thus it can be
our best friend in our fight against the most dangerous pathogens. Nature
and evolution have given us an important mechanism to control pathogenic
life forms and we should use it and trust it to protect us in ways that
antibiotics can’t.

Dr. David Brownstein, one of a core group of iodine doctors had very
kind words to say about my *Iodine - Bringing Back the Universal Medicine
book.* “Dr. Sircus has done it again. He has written a wonderful book on
iodine that shows the benefits of iodine for treating a wide range of
disorders and how you can incorporate iodine into your daily lifestyle.
This book should be in everyone’s library.” I would say the same about his
book, which inspired my deeper study into the applications of Iodine.

For those who can only get the inexpensive iodine at the drug store meant
for cuts and bruises, know that you can paint the body with it quite heavily
and frequently to get iodine into the body. Just monitor the skin for any
reactions with small area applications first.

*Influenza, Inflammation, and the Role of Magnesium*

What makes avian-derived H5N1 strains, and the influenza strain
underlying the 1918–1919 human pandemic so virulent is viral triggering of
cytokine-mediated lung inflammation. Inflammation is the activation of the
immune system in response to infection, irritation, or injury. Characterized
by an influx of white blood cells, redness, heat, swelling, pain, and
dysfunction of the organs involved, inflammation has different names when it
appears in different parts of the body. Magnesium is central to
immunocompetence, and plays a crucial role in natural and adaptive immunity
in great part because of its dominance over the inflammatory
response.

Magnesium is at the heart of the inflammatory process, it is the prime
first cause when it is not present in sufficient quantities. Increases in
extracellular magnesium concentration cause a decrease in the inflammatory
response while reduction in the extracellular magnesium results in
inflammation. Magnesium literally puts the chill on inflammation especially
when used transdermally. “Magnesium deficiency induces a systemic stress
response by activation of neuro endocrinological pathways,” writes Dr.
Mazur. “Magnesium deficiency contributes to an exaggerated response to
immune stress and oxidative stress is the consequence of the inflammatory
response,” he continued.

A little bit of magnesium chloride can be added to the drinking water
(the same as sodium bicarbonate mentioned in the next section). But both can
be introduced in much greater dosages and concentration in baths to bypass
digestive systems that may not be working properly. Many already know of the
transdermal effect of magnesium chloride and magnesium sulfate. One can also apply both
‘magnesium oil and a self-made lotion of sodium bicarbonate to the skin for rapid
absorption and this is most helpful for children. All can be put into a
sterile solution and nebulized directly into the lungs if inflammation
becomes life threatening. When all else fails, physicians can get both
magnesium and sodium bicarbonate into the body with IVs.

Most people and children are already magnesium deficient, which would
naturally increase complications or the possibility risk of death from
influenza. Everything mentioned in this basic emergency protocol is
preventive and can be started immediately. Don’t wait for the WHO to
officially announce an international pandemic before you stock your
emergency kit with the basics.

*Sodium Bicarbonate*

Using bicarbonate to change blood and full body pH is going to shift
the environment of most pathogens making it more uncomfortable for them to
inhabit a host. Malaria and influenza are often associated with
abnormalities of fluid, electrolytes and the acid-base balance. Sodium
bicarbonate is very useful and should not be overlooked just because it is
one of the most simple medicines and food items you can buy in the
supermarket.

Fluid and electrolyte imbalances easily occur in anybody with a severe
flu. This is common in severe malaria, extremes of age, young children,
malnutrition, and patients with high degree of fever and vomiting/diarrhea.

Sodium bicarbonate can be administered orally every two hours and can
be put in the baths as well as mixed with mineral water to make a lotion.
For oral use, Bob’s Red Mill Sodium Bicarbonate is the best but for baths
the old Arm and Hammer product is fine. Sodium bicarbonate buffers and
defends us from a host of complications, and is even used in chemotherapy to
protect patients from the toxic effects of dangerous drugs.

Sodium bicarbonate along with magnesium chloride are workhorse
medicines that are extremely useful in most all clinical situations.
Certainly they are useful together in infectious diseases to support both
the basic physiology and mitochondrial function.

*Vitamin C*

One does not have to say much when it comes to the importance of
Vitamin C in preparing the body for an aggressive attack of influenza of any
type. If vitamin C levels are low, the body will be more vulnerable to
complications. Also, an attack of the flu will lower already dangerously
depleted vitamin C levels. Whole food vitamin C is often better tolerated
than pure ascorbic acid in addition to the fact that whole food vitamin C
comes with the necessary co-factors for its efficacy, which ascorbic acid
does not.

There are many natural remedies on the market and many wives’s tales
–and there is always Mother’s chicken soup! One will find an extensive list
of possible herbs, formulas and foods that might help; however, they do not
make up a core protocol that one can depend on in an emergency situation
that can easily develop with a severe strain of influenza.

*The Sun – Strong Medicine against the Flu*

Medical scientists have noticed that people with the least D were most
likely to have had a recent infection of the upper respiratory tract. We
already know that getting plenty of vitamin D — more than diet can offer

appears to provide potent protection against colds, flu and even pneumonia.
As the amount of vitamin D circulating in blood climbs, risk of upper
respiratory tract infections falls and this is important when strong flu
strains strike hard.

Dr. Adit Ginde, an emergency room physician at the University Of
Colorado Denver School Of Medicine in Aurora says that in people with lung
disease, low levels of the sunshine vitamin “magnify many-fold” the
apparent vulnerability to infection seen in people with healthy lungs. Dr. Ginde
findings appeared in the Feb. 23 Archives of Internal Medicine and concluded
that in every season, people in the lowest vitamin D group were about 36
percent more likely to be suffering a respiratory infection than those in
the highest group.

Grind’s study showed that low levels of vitamin D more than doubled the
risk of respiratory infection for people with COPD — and boosted it almost
six fold in people with asthma — compared with participants who had normal
lung function and were in the highest vitamin D group. What was most
disturbing about the findings was that the NHANES data he analyzed had been
collected about 15 years ago, when almost twice as many people as today had
vitamin D levels above 30 ng/ml. This is a crucial point. We are more
vulnerable today then every before to a massive epidemic because we are more
toxic and more deficient in crucial vitamins and minerals than at any point
in modern history.

One of the most important and misunderstood vitamins is A, and it works
hard to keep you healthy with vitamin D when in the right balance. Vitamin A
plays a vital regulating role in the immune system also. Vitamin A
deficiency leads to a loss of ciliated cells in the lung, an important first
line defense against pathogens. Vitamin A promotes mucin secretion and
microvilli formation by mucosa, including the gastrointestinal tract mucosa.
Vitamin A regulates T-cell production and apoptosis.

If you are a sun lover, you do not need to take supplemental vitamin D;
however you still need to consume adequate vitamin A. Animal studies show
that even moderate amounts of vitamin D increase the body’s need for vitamin
A, whether the vitamin D is provided in the diet or by UV light. So, if you
cut back or eliminate cod liver oil in the summer, you can also consume
plenty of oily fish, liver, butterfat and egg yolks from grass-fed hens to
ensure adequate vitamin A.

So throw away your sun screens and get out in the sun when it is high
in the sky and roast yourself until slightly pink, and do that perhaps every
other day as a replacement for dangerous antiviral medications, along with
the rest of the anti-flu protocol. Drink lots of carrot juice with oranges
and eat spirulina, which is extraordinarily high in beta-carotene.

*In Summary, a Heart Felt Plea*

Please, I beg people to be aware that in November of 2005 Japan’s
health ministry issued a warning of dangerous behavioral side effects linked
to the anti-influenza drug Tamiflu. This came amid reports that several
children in Japan died after taking the medication. Dr. Rokuro Hama, head of
the Japan Institute of Pharmaco-Vigilance, had investigated eight suspicious
deaths of children aged between two and 17, which he thinks are linked to
Tamiflu. He reported his findings at a meeting of the Japan Society of
Pediatric Infectious Diseases. Investigators say in one case last year, a
17-year-old boy, after taking the medication, left his home during a
snowstorm, and jumped in front of a truck and died. Earlier that year, a
14-year-old boy, after taking one Tamiflu capsule, jumped or fell from the
ninth floor of an apartment building. Doctors say in both cases the boys had
not exhibited any abnormal behavior before taking Tamiflu.

Drug manufacturer Roche and US regulators have warned that influenza
patients treated with oseltamivir (Tamiflu) may have an increased risk of
self-injury and delirium. “People with the flu, particularly children, may
be at increased risk of self-injury and confusion shortly after taking
Tamiflu and should be closely monitored for signs of unusual behavior,” says
a warning that Roche has added to its official product information,
according to a company letter posted on the Food and Drug Administration
(FDA) Web site. …

Dr. Eleanor McBean, lived through the 1918 Influenza epidemic, and
testified, “As far as I could find out, the flu hit only the vaccinated.
Those who had refused the shots escaped the flu. My family had refused all
the vaccinations so we remained well all the time. There was seven times
more disease among the vaccinated soldiers than among the unvaccinated
civilians, and the diseases were those they had been vaccinated against.”

Vaccines, especially when given in multiple quantities in one sitting
certainly have the potential to throw a person or child’s body out of
balance as can nutritional deficiencies, dehydration, lack of exercise
or a lack of sun and vitamin D. Almost everyone today is magnesium
deficient, certainly every Mexican who eats white rice!

There are many who believe from the depths of their hearts that
vaccines are bio weapons of mass destruction, which exist for both
pharmaceutical profit and over bloated professional medical egos attached to
status and power. No matter what we believe though and no matter what
develops over the next few days it would be more than prudent to disseminate
this information that will be helpful to both doctors and people facing the
current public health crisis…

Retired biochemist and toxicologist Walter Last has this to say about
Lugol’s: “Lugol’s solution is an internal iodine
solution designed to eliminate Candida and possibly viruses and other
microbes from the bloodstream. Obtain 100ml of Lugol’s solution, also
labeled Aqueous Iodine Oral Solution B.P., from a chemist. Take a test drop
in liquid other then just water to make it taste less strong. If this does
not cause an allergic reaction, continue to take 4 x 6 drops daily in liquid
or mixed with food, but not together with vitamins A, C, E, grape seed
extract or cysteine. Iodine is an oxidant and it is best to reduce the
intake of antioxidants while using it. If the blood was contaminated, then
you may initially experience a die-off reaction of the Candida, causing
weakness and possibly headache or nausea. If this happens cut temporarily
back on the amount of Lugol’s solution and drink plenty of water and diluted
teas or juices. Continue for 3 weeks, but interrupt if you develop a serious
reaction. Do not take the iodine for more than 3 weeks as that interferes
with thyroid activity. If necessary repeat the course after several
months.”

Now we must raise the alarm once again. “Although past weaponization events have failed to trigger the pandemic,” Foundation President Gen. Stubblebine suggests, “we must assume the forces at work will produce what world health officials have called the inevitable pandemic.”

[2] More US swine flu cases, Mexico illnesses raise pandemic questions

Apr 23, 2009 (CIDRAP News) – Five more cases of an unusual swine influenza virus infection have surfaced, officials from the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) announced today, bringing the total to seven and raising more concerns about human-to-human transmission.

The new cases include two clusters, two 16-year-old boys in San Antonio, Tex., who attended the same school and a father and daughter from San Diego County. Anne Schuchat, MD, interim deputy director for the CDC’s science and public health program, told reporters today at a teleconference that the clusters are consistent with human-to-human spread.

She also said that the World Health Organization has not raised its six-phase pandemic alert level above phase 3 (no or very limited human-to-human transmission).

The fifth new case occurred in a patient from Imperial County, which borders San Diego County. Both counties are home to the first two swine flu patients that the CDC announced on Apr 21.

News of the five new swine flu cases came on the same day Canadian officials warned its public health, medical, and quarantine workers to look for illnesses among Canadians returning from Mexico. Mexico has reported several cases of severe respiratory illness and has asked Canada to assist in finding the source of the illnesses, some of which have been fatal, according to a report today from the Canadian Press (CP).

Schuchat said no swine flu cases have been confirmed in Mexico or Canada, but that CDC officials are discussing the situation with Mexican health officials and representatives from the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO).

Novel strain, relatively mild symptoms
Concerning the seven American cases, Schuchat said, “The good news is that all of the patients have recovered, and one was hospitalized. This is not looking like a very severe influenza.”

Patients experience fever, cough, and sore throat symptoms similar to typical influenza, but some of the patients who had swine influenza also experienced more diarrhea and vomiting than is typical of seasonal flu.

The CDC said genetic sequencing of samples from the first two patients, California children who lived in adjacent counties, show that the swine flu virus contains segments from four different viruses: some North American swine, some North American avian, one human influenza, and two Eurasian swine.

“This virus hasn’t been recognized in the USA or elsewhere,” Schuchat said.

CDC scientists have determined that the novel swine flu virus is resistant to the older antivirals rimantadine and amantadine but is susceptible to oseltamivir and zanamivir.

Schuchat said the CDC expects to see more swine flu cases and that it would provide regular updates on its Web site.

“This is not time for major concern around the country, but we want you to know what’s going on,” she said. Most of the public health response will focus on the California and Texas areas where cases have been identified, but the CDC is urging health departments in other states to heighten their awareness of respiratory illnesses, particularly in those who have had contact with pigs or traveled to the San Diego or San Antonio areas.

Schuchat said the CDC doesn’t know yet if the H1N1 component of this season’s influenza vaccine provides any protection against the swine flu virus, but she said studies are under way to determine if there is any cross-protection.

Expert reaction
Michael T. Osterholm, PhD, MPH, director of the University of Minnesota Center for Infectious Disease Research and Policy, publisher of CIDRAP News, said the findings, though concerning, don’t mean that a pandemic is imminent.

However, he said health officials shouldn’t take comfort in the fact that the illnesses so far have been mild. “The first wave of the 1918 pandemic was mild, too,” Osterholm pointed out.

Walter Dowdle, PhD, who worked in the CDC’s virology unit during the 1976 swine flu outbreak, told CIDRAP News that it’s interesting but not greatly alarming that the 2009 swine flu strain contains such an unusual mix of gene segments.

“It’s a real mutt,” said Dowdle, who now works with the Task Force for Child Survival and Development, based in Atlanta. “When you have an evolving RNA mechanism, it’s hard to be surprised by anything.”

The H1N1 component of the seasonal flu vaccine might provide some degree of protection, he said. And if the swine flu virus persists, federal officials could consider adding an additional H1N1 strain to next year’s vaccine.

Marie Gramer, DVM, PhD, a University of Minnesota veterinarian who has studied swine flu, said her preliminary examination shows that the outbreak strain doesn’t appear to closely match anything currently circulating in pigs. However, Gramer added that she has only looked at a small number of viruses and only at the hemagglutinin gene.

Risk message implications
Peter Sandman, PhD, a risk communication consultant based in Princeton, N.J., also listened in on today’s CDC teleconference. While he credited the CDC with getting a clear, calm, and concise scientific message out about the swine flu cases, he said they missed a teachable moment to promote pandemic preparedness.

“Everyone needs to learn how to say ‘This could be bad, and it’s a good reason to take precautions and prepare’ and ‘This could fizzle out,’” Sandman said. “They need to simultaneously say both statements.”

He added that “good risk communicators need to know how to be both scary and tentative.”

Federal health officials are probably treading cautiously around the word “pandemic,” because some accused them of fearmongering when they raised concerns about the H5N1 virus 2 years ago and also because of overreaction during the 1976 swine flu epidemic that led to vaccination missteps.

When talking to the public about pandemic risks, federal officials could take some cues from hurricane forecasters, Sandman said, “and speculate responsibly.”

Canadian officials probe Mexico illnesses
Canada’s Public Health Authority (PHAC) said today in a situation update that Mexican authorities have asked its assistance in determining the cause of two clusters of severe respiratory illnesses that have occurred this month.

A cluster in Mexico City involved 120 cases and 13 deaths; the other occurred in San Luis Potosi, where 14 cases and 4 deaths were reported. Three deaths were reported from other locations: One from Oaxaca in southern Mexico and two from Baja California Norte, near the US border.

The PHAC report said the disease outbreak struck some healthcare workers and that most patients were previously healthy young adults between the ages of 25 and 44. Symptoms included fever, headache, ocular pain, shortness of breath, and fatigue that rapidly progressed to severe respiratory distress in about 5 days.

Mexican officials detected some influenza A/H1N1 and influenza B viruses, but have apparently ruled out H5N1 virus involvement. The PHAC said it received 51 clinical samples from Mexico for testing at its National Microbiology Lab.

Mexico told the PHAC that it had a late influenza season with an increasing number of influenza-like illnesses since the middle of March. The country also had a higher proportion of influenza B viruses than previous seasons.

[3] Sixty Swine Flu Fatalities In Mexico Confirm Pandemic Start

A rare outbreak of human swine flu has killed at least 60 people in Mexico and spread to the United States where authorities are on alert, the World Health Organisation said on Friday.

“To date there have been some 800 suspected cases with flu-like illness, with 57 deaths in the Mexico City area,” Chaib added.

Twenty four suspected cases and three deaths were also recorded in San Luis Potosi in central Mexico.

The above comment confirm that the swine H1N1 in southwestern United States (see updated map) is the leading edge of a H1N1 pandemic that appears to be centered in Mexico.

These deaths should increase the pandemic phase to 6.

[4] Deadly new flu strain breaks out in Mexico, U.S.

MEXICO CITY (Reuters) - A strain of flu never seen before has killed as many as 61 people in Mexico and has spread into the United States, where eight people have been infected but recovered, health officials said on Friday.

Mexico’s government said at least 16 people have died of the disease in central Mexico and that it may also have been responsible for 45 other deaths.

The World Health Organization said tests showed the virus in 12 of the Mexican patients had the same genetic structure as a new strain of swine flu, designated H1N1, seen in eight people in California and Texas.

Because there is clearly human-to-human spread of the new virus, raising fears of a major outbreak, Mexico’s government canceled classes for millions of children in its sprawling capital city and surrounding areas.

“Our concern has grown as of yesterday,” U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention acting director Dr. Richard Besser told reporters in a telephone briefing.

It first looked mostly like a swine virus but closer analysis showed it is a never-before-seen mixture of swine, human and avian viruses, according to the CDC.

“We do not have enough information to fully assess the health threat posed by this new swine flu virus,” Besser said.

Humans can occasionally catch swine flu from pigs but rarely have they been known to pass it on to other people.

The WHO said it was ready to use rapid containment measures if needed, including antivirals, and that both the United States and Mexico are well equipped to handle the outbreak.

Both the WHO and the CDC said there was no need to alter travel arrangements in Mexico or the United States.

CLOSE TO 1,000 SUSPECTED CASES IN MEXICO

Eight people were infected with the new strain in California and Texas, but all of them have recovered. Mexico said it had close to 1,000 suspected cases there.

The CDC’s Besser said scientists were working to understand why there are so many deaths in Mexico when the infections in the United States seem mild.

Worldwide, seasonal flu kills between 250,000 and 500,000 people in an average year, but the flu season for North America should have been winding down.

The U.S. government said it was closely following the new cases. “The White House is taking the situation seriously and monitoring for any new developments. The president has been fully briefed,” an administration official said.

Mexico’s government cautioned people not to shake hands or kiss when greeting or to share food, glasses or cutlery for fear of infection.

The outbreak jolted residents of the Mexican capital, one of the world’s biggest cities and home to some 20 million people.

One pharmacy ran out of surgical face masks after selling 300 in a day.

“We’re frightened because they say it’s not exactly flu, it’s another kind of virus and we’re not vaccinated,” said Angeles Rivera, 34, a federal government worker who fetched her son from a public kindergarten that was closing.

The virus is an influenza A virus, carrying the designation H1N1. It contains DNA from avian, swine and human viruses, including elements from European and Asian swine viruses, the CDC has said.

The Geneva-based U.N. agency WHO said it was in daily contact with U.S., Canadian and Mexican authorities and had activated its Strategic Health Operations Center (SHOC) — its command and control center for acute public health events.

Surveillance for and scrutiny of influenza has been stepped up since 2003, when H5N1 bird flu reappeared in Asia. Experts fear that or another strain could spark a pandemic that could kill millions.

In Egypt, a 33-year-old woman died of bird flu, becoming the third such victim there in a week. The H5N1 bird flu, a completely different strain from the swine flu, has infected 421 people in 15 countries and killed 257 since 2003.

An outbreak of severe acute respiratory syndrome, or SARS, killed 44 people in Canada in 2003.

WASHINGTON, April 25 (Reuters) - A new and unusual strain of swine flu is likely widespread and impossible to contain at this point, experts agree.

The H1N1 strain has killed at least 20 people and possibly 48 more in Mexico and has been confirmed in at least eight people in the United States, all of whom had mild illness.

Probable cases also were found at a school in the New York City borough of Queens and experts at the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention say they fully expect to find more cases. Here is why:

* This new strain of influenza has shown it can spread easily from person to person.

* It has been found in several places and among people who had no known contact. This suggests there is an unseen chain of infection and that the virus has been spreading quietly.

* This can happen because respiratory illnesses are very common and doctors rarely test patients for flu. People could have had the swine virus and never known it.

* At least in the United States, it has so far only been found in people who had mild illness, another factor that would have allowed it to spread undetected.

* World Health Organization director Dr. Margaret Chan has said the new strain of H1N1 has the potential to become a pandemic strain because it does spread easily and does cause serious disease.

MEXICO CITY (Reuters) - Governments around the world rushed on Sunday to check the spread of a new type of swine flu that has killed up to 81 people in Mexico and infected around a dozen in the United States.

Mexicans huddled in their homes while U.S. hospitals tracked patients with flu symptoms and other countries imposed health checks at airports as the World Health Organization warned the virus had the potential to become a pandemic.

The epidemic has snowballed into a monster headache for Mexico, already grappling with a violent drug war and economic slowdown, and has quickly become one of the biggest global health scares in years.

Mexico’s tourism and retail sectors could be badly hit. A new pandemic would deal a major blow to a world economy already suffering its worst recession in decades.

In New Zealand, 10 pupils from an Auckland school party that had returned from Mexico were being treated for influenza symptoms in what health authorities said was a likely case of swine flu, although they added none was seriously ill.

The WHO declared the flu a “public health event of international concern.” WHO Director-General Dr. Margaret Chan urged greater worldwide surveillance for any unusual outbreaks of influenza-like illness.

“(We are) monitoring minute by minute the evolution of this problem across the whole country,” Mexican President Felipe Calderon said as health officials counted suspected infections in six states from the tropical south to the northern border.

While all the deaths so far have been in Mexico, the flu is spreading in the United States. Eleven cases were confirmed in California, Kansas and Texas, and eight schoolchildren in New York City caught a type A influenza virus that health officials say is likely to be the swine flu.

The new flu strain, a mixture of various swine, bird and human viruses, poses the biggest risk of a large-scale pandemic since avian flu surfaced in 1997, killing several hundred people. A 1968 “Hong Kong” flu pandemic killed about 1 million people globally.

New flu strains can spread quickly because no one has natural immunity to them and a vaccine takes months to develop.

TRAVELLERS SCREENED

Countries across Asia, which have had to grapple with deadly viruses like H5N1 bird flu and SARS in recent years, snapped into action. At airports and other border checkpoints in Hong Kong, Malaysia, South Korea and Japan, officials screened travelers for any flu-like symptoms.

In China, officials assured people that conventional measures in place were adequate to contain the new threat.

“The measures we’ve been taking against bird flu are effective for this new type of disease,” said Wang Jing of the China Inspection and Quarantine Science Research Institute, in comments carried by state media.

Argentina declared a health alert, requiring anyone arriving on flights from Mexico to advise if they had flu-like symptoms. Continued…

The swine flu virus that has killed more than 80 people in Mexico may mutate into a “more dangerous” strain, the World Health Organisation has warned. Skip related content

“It’s quite possible for this virus to evolve… when viruses evolve, clearly they can become more dangerous to people,” said Keiji Fukuda, of the global health watchdog.

Mr Fukuda also called for international vigilance as health experts wait to see whether the virus will turn into a worldwide pandemic.

Over 1,300 people are now thought to have contracted the virulent H1N1 swine influenza after it mutated into a form that spreads from human to human.

The Mayor of New York has confirmed that eight school children are suffering mild symptoms after becoming infected.

And there have been at least 12 other confirmed cases in Texas, Ohio, California and Kansas.

The White House has declared a public health emergency but told the public “not to panic”.

Sky US correspondent Greg Milam said: “It’s important to realise that those affected have only had mild symptoms, and all have recovered or are recovering.

“But the authorities do believe that this outbreak will get worse.”

Canada has become the third country to confirm human cases of swine flu with six people falling ill in Nova Scotia and British Columbia.

Elsewhere in the world, suspected cases have been reported in France, Spain, Israel, New Zealand and the UK.

In France, two people who had returned from Mexico with fevers are being monitored in regions near the port cities of Bordeaux and Marseille.

A 26-year-old Israeli man has also been admitted to hospital after returning from a trip to Mexico with flu-like symptoms.

In Auckland, 10 school children have tested positive for influenza after returning from Mexico.

In the UK, two people have been admitted to a hospital in Scotland after returning from Mexico last week.

They are said to have mild flu-like symptoms but their condition is not causing concern.

Mexican City Mayor Marcelo Ebrard said two more people have died of the virus, taking the death toll to 83.

All schools have been shut in Mexico City, the surrounding area and the central state of San Luis Potosi until May 6.

The WHO says it has a stockpile of the antiviral Tamiflu, which has proven effective against the virus, and is preparing a vaccine if needed.

The H1N1 strain of swine flu is usually only seen in pigs - but in humans can cause symptoms including fever and fatigue.

The WHO says there is “zero evidence” that people are getting infected with the virus from exposure to pigmeat or pigs.

However, many countries say they are stepping up checks on pork imports from the region.

Russia has banned meat imports from Mexico as well as from several US states and Central American countries.

In analyzing the strategic point of greatest global and local impact, we came to the conclusion that nothing would have more global impact on the widest possible number of factors than reclaiming the production of food by wresting it from corporate/statist control and returning it to the hands of farmers and non-farmers alike. To do this, we initiated the Natural Solutions Foundation’s International Decade of Nutrition (September 2005) and created a series of programs like our Agricultural Programs in Benin, Africa where we installed clean, safe, chemical free, inexpensive and intuitive technology designed to increase crop production by 200-600%, increase nutrient density by the same amount, decrease water usage by up to 25% and increase storage life by a similar amount.

After a global search, we decided to create the first of our teaching communities in the Chiriqui Highlands of Panama and created the Valley of the Moon™ Eco Demonstration Community, www.NaturalSolutionsFoundation.org.

Our first project was to purchase an coffee farm which was heavily infested with the devastating fungus Mycena citricolor (locally known as “ojo de gallo” or “rooster’s eye”) and create a foliar spray using bacteria and nutrients to cure the disease. This was so successful that the Natural Solutions Foundation intends to build a small factor, teach local farmers how to use this product and, in so doing, replace the toxic fungicides which perviously have been the coffee farmer’s only tool against this enormously costly problem.

Our following projects include -

* A BeyondOrganic BioDynamic Zero Emissions Farm and Farm School in the remote and beautiful town of Portrerillos Arriba. Since Panama holds most of the growing climates in which food is produced by most of the world’s farmers, segments of the school will be created on pieces of land at different altitudes and conditions to allow farmers from around the world to participate in this education for sustainable, net energy-producing farming techniques. We will be following the procedures elaborated by Fr. Godfrey Nzamajo Songhai Foundation’s Zero Emissions Research Initiative (Benin).

* Intensive Urban Agriculture, similar to “Square Foot Gardening” will be taught to children, mothers and others to disseminate the techniques of growing clean, unadulterated food on a family-by-family basis using, and saving, heirloom organic seeds and providing the nutritional components necessary to reverse the deadly trends of demineralized and devitalized, GMO and contaminated food.

* A Natural Health Center where natural medicine, including traditional herbal strategies for health, acupuncture, acupressure, homeopathy, detoxification, neurobiofeedback, massage and a host of other natural medical strategies will be taught and employed.

* A medical service for local and indigenous people will be created so that economic and sociological conditions are no bar to access to these medical options.

* A seminar center will be available to allow people to come to the Valley of the Moon for intensive educational opportunities in both long and short courses.

* A small hotel for guests and tourists.

* A cutlural center for performing and teaching music, dance, the plastic and visual arts.

* A residential area for long-term participants.

By using Zero Emissions Farming, no pollution will be produced and our only outputs will be 1.) energy from methane gas and 2.) energy from clean, unadulterated food.

Just Stay
A nurse took the tired, anxious serviceman to the bedside.
'Your son is here,' she said to the old man.

She had to repeat the words several times before the patient's eyes opened.

Heavily sedated because of the pain of his heart attack,

he dimly saw the young uniformed Marine standing outside

the oxygen tent.

He reached out his hand.

The Marine wrapped his toughened fingers around the old man's

limp ones, squeezing a message

of love and encouragement.

The nurse brought a chair

so that the Marine could sit

beside the bed.

All through the night the

young Marine sat there

in the poorly lighted ward,

holding the old man's hand

and offering

him words of love and strength

Occasionally, the nurse

suggested that the Marine

move away and rest awhile.

He refused.

Whenever the nurse came

into the ward,

the Marine was oblivious of her

and of the night noises

of the hospital -

the clanking of the oxygen tank,

the laughter of the night staff members exchanging greetings,

the cr ies and moans

of the other patients.

Now and then she heard him say a few gentle words. The dying man said nothing, only held tightly to his son all through the night.

Along towards dawn, the old man died. The Marine released the now lifeless hand he had been holding and went to tell the nurse. While she did what she had to do, he waited.

Finally, she returned.

She started to offer words

of sympathy,

but the Marine interrupted her.

'Who was that man?'

he asked.
The nurse was startled,

'He was your father,'

she answered.

'No, he wasn't,' the Marine replied.

'I never saw him before in my life.'

'Then why didn't you say something when I took you to him?'

'I knew right away there had been a mistake,
but I also knew he needed his son, and his
son just wasn't here.
When I realized that he was too sick to tell
whether or not I was his son,
knowing how much he needed me, I stayed.'

FEMA CONCENTRATION CAMPS: Locations and Executive Orders

There over 800 prison camps in the United States, all fully operational and ready to receive prisoners. They are all staffed and even surrounded by full-time guards, but they are all empty. These camps are to be operated by FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency) should Martial Law need to be implemented in the United States and all it would take is a presidential signature on a proclamation and the attorney general's signature on a warrant to which a list of names is attached. Ask yourself if you really want to be on Ashcroft's list.

The Rex 84 Program was established on the reasoning that if a "mass exodus" of illegal aliens crossed the Mexican/US border, they would be quickly rounded up and detained in detention centers by FEMA. Rex 84 allowed many military bases to be closed down and to be turned into prisons.

Operation Cable Splicer and Garden Plot are the two sub programs which will be implemented once the Rex 84 program is initiated for its proper purpose. Garden Plot is the program to control the population. Cable Splicer is the program for an orderly takeover of the state and local governments by the federal government. FEMA is the executive arm of the coming police state and thus will head up all operations. The Presidential Executive Orders already listed on the Federal Register also are part of the legal framework for this operation.

The camps all have railroad facilities as well as roads leading to and from the detention facilities. Many also have an airport nearby. The majority of the camps can house a population of 20,000 prisoners. Currently, the largest of these facilities is just outside of Fairbanks, Alaska. The Alaskan facility is a massive mental health facility and can hold approximately 2 million people.

High capacity facility, presently manned and populated with some prisoners. Pensacola - Federal Prison Camp Everglades - It is believed that a facility may be carved out of the wilds here.

GEORGIA
Ft. Benning - Located east of Columbus near Alabama state line. Rex 84 site - Prisoners brought in via Lawson Army airfield. Ft. Mc Pherson - US Force Command - Multiple reports that this will be the national headquarters and coordinating center for foreign/UN troop movement and detainee collection. Ft. Gordon - West of Augusta - No information at this time. Unadilla - Dooly County - Manned, staffed FEMA prison on route 230, no prisoners. IDAHO
Minidoka/Jerome Counties - WWII Japanese-American internment facility possibly under renovation. Clearwater National Forest - Near Lolo Pass - Just miles from the Montana state line near Moose Creek, this unmanned facility is reported to have a nearby airfield. ILLINOIS
Marseilles - Located on the Illinois River off Interstate 80 on Hwy 6. It is a relatively small facility with a cap of 1400 prisoners. Though it is small it is designed like prison facilities with barred windows, but the real smoking gun is the presence of military vehicles. Being located on the Illinois River it is possible that prisoners will be brought in by water as well as by road and air. This facility is approximately 75 miles west of Chicago. National Guard training area nearby. Scott AFB - Barbed wire prisoner enclosure reported to exist just off-base. More info needed, as another facility on-base is beieved to exist. Pekin - This Federal satellite prison camp is also on the Illinois River, just south of Peoria. It supplements the federal penitentiary in Marion, which is equipped to handle additional population outside on the grounds. Chanute AFB - Rantoul, near Champaign/Urbana - This closed base had WWII - era barracks that were condemned and torn down, but the medical facility was upgraded and additional fencing put up in the area. More info needed. Marion - Federal Penitentiary and satellite prison camp inside Crab Orchard Nat'l Wildlife Refuge. Manned, staffed, populated fully. Greenfield - Two federal correctional "satellite prison camps" serving Marion - populated as above. Shawnee National Forest - Pope County - This area has seen heavy traffic of foreign military equipment and troops via Illinois Central Railroad, which runs through the area. Suspected location is unknown, but may be close to Vienna and Shawnee correctional centers, located 6 mi. west of Dixon Springs. Savanna Army Depot - NW area of state on Mississippi River. Lincoln, Sheridan, Menard, Pontiac, Galesburg - State prison facilities equipped for major expansion and close or adjacent to highways & railroad tracks. Kankakee - Abandoned industrial area on west side of town (Rt.17 & Main) designated as FEMA detention site. Equipped with water tower, incinerator, a small train yard behind it and the rear of the facility is surrounded by barbed wire facing inwards.

INDIANA
Indianapolis / Marion County - Amtrak railcar repair facility (closed); controversial site of a major alleged detention / processing center. Although some sources state that this site is a "red herring", photographic and video evidence suggests otherwise. This large facility contains large 3-4 inch gas mains to large furnaces (crematoria??), helicopter landing pads, railheads for prisoners, Red/Blue/Green zones for classifying/processing incoming personnel, one-way turnstiles, barracks, towers, high fences with razor wire, etc. Personnel with government clearance who are friendly to the patriot movement took a guided tour of the facility to confirm this site. This site is located next to a closed refrigeration plant facility. Ft. Benjamin Harrison - Located in the northeast part of Indianapolis, this base has been decomissioned from "active" use but portions are still ideally converted to hold detainees. Helicopter landing areas still exist for prisoners to be brought in by air, land & rail. Crown Point - Across street from county jail, former hospital. One wing presently being used for county work-release program, 80% of facility still unused. Possible FEMA detention center or holding facility. Camp Atterbury - Facility is converted to hold prisoners and boasts two active compounds presently configured for minumum security detainees. Located just west of Interstate 65 near Edinburgh, south of Indianapolis. Terre Haute - Federal Correctional Institution, Satellite prison camp and death facility. Equipped with crematoria reported to have a capacity of 3,000 people a day. FEMA designated facility located here. Fort Wayne - This city located in Northeast Indiana has a FEMA designated detention facility, accessible by air, road and nearby rail. Kingsbury - This "closed" military base is adjacent to a state fish & wildlife preserve. Part of the base is converted to an industrial park, but the southern portion of this property is still used. It is bordered on the south by railroad, and is staffed with some foreign-speaking UN troops. A local police officer who was hunting and camping close to the base in the game preserve was accosted, roughed up, and warned by the English-speaking unit commander to stay away from the area. It was suggested to the officer that the welfare of his family would depend on his "silence". Located just southeast of LaPorte. Jasper-Pulaski Wildlife Area - Youth Corrections farm located here. Facility is "closed", but is still staffed and being "renovated". Total capacity unknown. Grissom AFB - This closed airbase still handles a lot of traffic, and has a "state-owned" prison compound on the southern part of the facility.

. Jefferson Proving Grounds - Southern Indiana - This facility was an active base with test firing occuring daily. Portions of the base have been opened to create an industrial park, but other areas are still highly restricted. A camp is believed to be located "downrange". Facility is equipped with an airfield and has a nearby rail line. Newport - Army Depot - VX nerve gas storage facility. Secret meetings were held here in 1998 regarding the addition of the Kankakee River watershed to the Heritage Rivers Initiative. Hammond - large enclosure identified in FEMA-designated city.

Concordia - WWII German POW camp used to exist at this location but there is no facility there at this time. Ft. Riley - Just north of Interstate 70, airport, near city of Manhattan. El Dorado - Federal prison converted into forced-labor camp, UNICOR industries. Topeka - 80 acres has been converted into a temporary holding camp.

KENTUCKY
Ashland - Federal prison camp in Eastern Kentucky near the Ohio River. Louisville - FEMA detention facility, located near restricted area US naval ordnance plant. Military airfield located at facility, which is on south side of city. Lexington - FEMA detention facility, National Guard base with adjacent airport facility. Manchester - Federal prison camp located inside Dan Boone National Forest. Ft. Knox - Detention center, possibly located near Salt River, in restricted area of base. Local patriots advise that black Special Forces & UN gray helicopters are occasionally seen in area. Land Between the Lakes - This area was declared a UN biosphere and is an ideal geographic location for detention facilities. Area is an isthmus extending out from Tennessee, between Lake Barkley on the east and Kentucky Lake on the west. Just scant miles from Fort Campbell in Tennessee.

LOUISIANA
Ft. Polk - This is a main base for UN troops & personnel, and a training center for the disarmament of America. Livingston - WWII German/Italian internment camp being renovated?; halfway between Baton Rouge and Hammond, several miles north of Interstate 12. Oakdale - Located on US route 165 about 50 miles south of Alexandria; two federal detention centers just southeast of Fort Polk.

Pershing County - Camp is located at I-80 mile marker 112, south side of the highway, about a mile back on the county road and then just off the road about 3/4mi. Winnemucca - Battle Mountain area - at the base of the mountains. Nellis Air Force Range - Northwest from Las Vegas on Route 95. Nellis AFB is just north of Las Vegas on Hwy 604. Stillwater Naval Air Station - east of Reno . No additional data.

NEW JERSEY
Ft. Dix / McGuire AFB - Possible deportation point for detainees. Lots of pictures taken of detention compounds and posted on Internet, this camp is well-known. Facility is now complete and ready for occupancy.

NEW MEXICO
Ft. Bliss - This base actually straddles Texas state line. Just south of Alomogordo, Ft. Bliss has thousands of acres for people who refuse to go with the "New Order". Holloman AFB (Alomogordo)- Home of the German Luftwaffe in Amerika; major UN base. New facility being built on this base, according to recent visitors. Many former USAF buildings have been torn down by the busy and rapidly growing German military force located here. Fort Stanton - currently being used as a youth detention facility approximately 35 miles north of Ruidoso, New Mexico. Not a great deal of information concerning the Lordsburg location. White Sands Missile Range - Currently being used as a storage facility for United Nations vehicles and equipment. Observers have seen this material brought in on the Whitesands rail spur in Oro Grande New Mexico about thirty miles from the Texas, New Mexico Border.

NORTH CAROLINA
Camp Lejeune / New River Marine Airfield - facility has renovated, occupied WWII detention compounds and "mock city" that closely resembles Anytown, USA. Fort Bragg - Special Warfare Training Center. Renovated WWII detention facility. Andrews - Federal experiment in putting a small town under siege. Began with the search/ hunt for survivalist Eric Rudolph. No persons were allowed in or out of town without federal permission and travel through town was highly restricted. Most residents compelled to stay in their homes. NORTH DAKOTA

Camp Perry - Site renovated; once used as a POW camp to house German and Italian prisoners of WWII. Some tar paper covered huts built for housing these prisoners are still standing. Tinker AFB (OKC) - All base personnel are prohibited from going near civilian detention area, which is under constant guard. Sheridan - Federal prison satellite camp northwest of Salem. Josephine County - WWII Japanese internment camp ready for renovation. Sheridan - FEMA detention center. Umatilla - New prison spotted.

PENNSYLVANIA
Allenwood - Federal prison camp located south of Williamsport on the Susquehanna River. It has a current inmate population of 300, and is identified by William Pabst as having a capacity in excess of 15,000 on 400 acres.
Indiantown Gap Military Reservation - located north of Harrisburg. Used for WWII POW camp and renovated by Jimmy Carter. Was used to hold Cubans during Mariel boat lift.
Camp Hill - State prison close to Army depot. Lots of room, located in Camp Hill, Pa. New Cumberland Army Depot - on the Susquehanna River, located off Interstate 83 and Interstate 76.

There are many other locations not listed above that are worthy of consideration as a possible detention camp site, but due to space limitations and the time needed to verify, could not be included here. Virtually all military reservations, posts, bases, stations, & depots can be considered highly suspect (because it is "federal" land). Also fitting this category are "Regional Airports" and "International Airports" which also fall under federal jurisdiction and have limited-access areas. Mental hospitals, closed hospitals & nursing homes, closed military bases, wildlife refuges, state prisons, toxic waste dumps, hotels and other areas all have varying degrees of potential for being a detention camp area. The likelihood of a site being suspect increases with transportation access to the site, including airports/airstrips, railheads, navigable waterways & ports, interstate and US highways. Some facilities are "disguised" as industrial or commercial properties, camouflaged or even wholly contained inside large buildings (Indianapolis) or factories. Many inner-city buildings left vacant during the de-industrialization of America have been quietly acquired and held, sometimes retrofitted for their new uses.

CANADA
Our Canadian friends tell us that virtually all Canadian military bases, especially those north of the 50th Parallel, are all set up with concentration camps. Not even half of these can be listed, but here are a few sites with the massive land space to handle any population:
Suffield CFB - just north of Medicine Hat, less than 60 miles from the USA.
Primrose Lake Air Range - 70 miles northeast of Edmonton.
Wainwright CFB - halfway between Medicine Hat and Primrose Lake.
Ft. Nelson - Northernmost point on the BC Railway line.
Ft. McPherson - Very cold territory ~ NW Territories. Ft. Providence - Located on Great Slave Lake. Halifax - Nova Scotia. Dept. of National Defense reserve.... And others.

OVERSEAS LOCATIONS
Guayanabo, Puerto Rico - Federal prison camp facility. Capacity unknown.
Guantanamo Bay, Cuba - US Marine Corps Base - Presently home to 30,000 Mariel Cubans and 40,000 Albanians. Total capacity unknown.

I just posted earlier in the nhpreppers blog, and I was all upset. This is why; whenever I think about the injustices that are done us, the people of the USA, in the name of 'government', or anything else, it makes me want to puke.
We're expected to 'take it like a man', so to speak. Guess what? I'm not a man, I'm a woman. We all, men, women and children have rights that are being taken from us on a seemingly daily basis. Laws are passed that is not good for us, the economy or even the earth.
You know that saying, "Do as I say, not as I do"? That is how we're treated. We aren't all children. I'm not sticking my head in the sand about things just because I don't like it. But I am trying to help to make the world a better place. This is the greatest nation on earth, and yet, we are often treated like chattel. I am not against helping anyone, but I also think charity begins at home.
I may not call myself a christian, but I do believe in a supreme creator. I also believe the Great Creator gave us minds to think with. There are always reasons for the things we go thru, sometimes it's just to make us stronger. Sometimes it's to right a wrong. But when some idiot in office treats us as if we don't matter, then it's time to say, "Screw you!"
I don't vote anymore. It doesn't make a difference anyway. The college electoral vote decides who will win anyway. So why bother? I use to think it made a difference. I know there are people who think if you don't vote you're part of the problem, I say, as did George Carlin, if you vote, you're part of the problem. Either way, it goes the way the 'leaders' want, and very seldom the way we, the common man want. And...
even if we 'seem' to get what we want, the cost is often too damn high. Because just as sure as you're reading this, if a bill or law you want to pass, does pass, there is usually another law hidden in there somewhere that you really don't want.
Maybe the government needs a downfall. I personally believe that all these natural disasters are natures' and Gods' way of saying "Wake up!!!" and smell the coffee. But of course government doesn't do that.
I've noticed for a few years now, that certain books and movies seem to have an inkling of what's happening. It seems as if when the movie or book does come out, and within a fairly short period of time, it happens in real time.
There is injustice all over the world. None of it is right. This isn't why the planet was created, so the few could use and abuse and enslave the many. We have hidden our heads in the sand for way, way too long thinking that the government knew what was best for us. Apparently they don't, since as you can plainly see, everything is damn near screwed up. Sort of reminds me of a fubar.

Hi,
I just want to talk a little. Or alot. I sometimes wonder about the way things are. I believe the government is supposed to be 'by the people, for the people, and of the people.' It hasn't been that way for a long time. I'd ask why, and even how. But in my opinion, it's easy to answer. The people are/were too gullible and perhaps even lazy or too scared to put a stop to all the nonsense.
Now...before anyone jumps down my throat about any of that, read the rest if you will.
We as a people, the majority have been fed lies by the few, and because they were often better educated, we believed them. Then there's always the people who threaten their way into office. Yes I believe it, even if I don't have proof. This is still the land of the free and home of the brave. As to the 'lazy' part of the statement, most people would prefer to let others make the decisions for them. If you don't think that's so, then ask yourself this: Why the hell are we in this mess then?
I'm entitled to my opinion just as you are.
Pretty soon, if we keep on the track we're on, not only will the economy and ecology be worse, but Big Brother will be asking each person who we screwed and how many times as if that is any of their business.
I know people who bitch because I smoke. As long as people put toxins in the soil, water, air, and put trash in the earth (landfills) and in the ocean....don't even bother bitching about cigarettes. Besides which, preservatives in our food, fluoride (which is rat poison) in our water and toothpaste, cause cancer. Artificial sweeteners cause cancer. Etc. Therefore, why wonder about smoking? And last I heard, politicians (some of them) smoke cigars, and yet they have the audacity to raise taxes on cigarettes and want the FDA to regulate the tobacco industry.
Personally I get tired of hearing all the crap the politicians put out. The rules and regulations for our own good, etc. Some rules are good. But sometimes they take things too far. I'd like the people to stop being so many sheeple. Think for themselves, damnit!!! I know they're capable of doing so, they just need people to stop telling them they don't know what's best for themselves. Like homeschooling. Some parents prefer to not send their kids to public school, and I can't say as I blame them. Especially since they started the "dumbing down of America" a few years ago.

I finally got the survival and preparedness site up. More links will be added as I get them. The camping site is also up. The only thing on it is a camping cookbook, more will be added later. I'm accepting affiliates for the cookbook. You can make 33% for each camping cookbook you sell.
I have still have a shitload of stuff to get done. But hey, it beats the hell out of watching TV all day. Yes I know ppl who do that crap, and they bitch at me, and I quote "You're on that PC all day. I don't see how you can stand it. I'd go nuts." They can sit on they're duffs and watch Tv, but bitch at me for trying to make things better for myself. You can't run a business unless you spend time running it. You ever have one of those days where you feel as if something is about to happen, but you've no idea what? I've had that feeling since around 5:30 this morning. It feels both good and bad. I've no idea what yet, but something is happening somewhere that will affect me in some way.
I don't do mind knowing when something is about to happen, but when I've no idea what it is, it's a little irritating.
It's made me cranky all morning, and I really hate that, on top of a head cold which I'm really trying to get rid of.
Sheesh...as if I don't have enough on my plate right now.

April Fool's Day Worm

CNN) -- A computer-science detective story is playing out on the Internet as security experts try to hunt down a worm called Conficker C and prevent it from damaging millions of computers on April Fool's Day.

This piece of computer code tells the worm to activate on April 1, 2009, researchers at CA found.

The anti-worm researchers have banded together in a group they call the Conficker Cabal. Members are searching for the malicious software program's author and for ways to do damage control if he or she can't be stopped.

They're motivated in part by a $250,000 bounty from Microsoft and also by what seems to be a sort of Dick Tracy ethic.

"We love catching bad guys," said Alvin Estevez, CEO of Enigma Software Group, which is one of many companies trying to crack Conficker. "We're like former hackers who like to catch other hackers. To us, we get almost a feather in our cap to be able to knock out that worm. We slap each other five when we're killing those infections."

The malicious program already is thought to have infected between 5 million and 10 million computers.

Those infections haven't spawned many symptoms, but on April 1 a master computer is scheduled to gain control of these zombie machines, said Don DeBolt, director of threat research for CA, a New York-based IT and software company.

What happens on April Fool's Day is anyone's guess.

The program could delete all of the files on a person's computer, use zombie PCs -- those controlled by a master -- to overwhelm and shut down Web sites or monitor a person's keyboard strokes to collect private information like passwords or bank account information, experts said.

More likely, though, said DeBolt, the virus may try to get computer users to buy fake software or spend money on other phony products.

Experts said computer hackers largely have moved away from showboating and causing random trouble. They now usually try to make money off their viral programs.

DeBolt said Conficker C imbeds itself deep in the computer where it is difficult to track. The program, for instance, stops Windows from conducting automatic updates that could prevent the malware from causing damage.

The program's code is also written to evolve over time and its author appears to be making updates to thwart some of the Conficker Cabal's attempts to neuter the worm.

"It is very much a cat and mouse game," DeBolt said.

It's unclear who wrote the program, but members of the Cabal are looking for clues.

First, they know that some recent malware programs have come from Eastern European countries outside the jurisdiction of the European Union, said Patrick Morganelli, senior vice president of technology for Enigma Software.

Worm program authors often hide in those countries to stay out of sight from law enforcement, he said.

In a way, the Conficker Cabal is also looking for the program author's fingerprints. DeBolt said security researchers are looking through old malware programs to see if their programming styles are similar to that of Conficker C.

The prospects for catching the program's author are not good, Morganelli said.

"Unless they open their mouth, they'll never be found," he said.

So, the most effective counter-assault simply may be damage control.

One quick way to see if your computer has been infected is to see if you have gotten automatic updates from Windows in March. If so, your computer likely is fine, DeBolt said.

Microsoft released a statement saying the company "is actively working with the industry to mitigate the spread of the worm."

Users who haven't gotten the latest Windows updates should go to http://safety.live.com if they fear they're infected, the company's statement says.

DeBolt said people who use other antivirus software should check to make sure they've received the latest updates, which also could have been disabled by Conficker C.

The first version of Conficker -- strain A -- was released in late 2008.

That version used 250 Web addresses -- generated daily by the system -- as the means of communication between the master computer and its zombies.

The end goal of the first line was to sell computer users fake antivirus software, said Morganelli.

Computer security experts largely patched that problem by working with the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers to disable or buy the problematic URLs, he said.

That process-of-elimination approach isn't likely to be effective with Conficker strain C, Morganelli said. The new version will generate 50,000 URLs per day instead of just 250 when it becomes active, DeBolt said.

The first iteration of Conficker is thought to have grown out of a free function for security programs created by Dr. Ronald Rivest, a computer science professor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

"Any technology can be used for good or evil, and this is just an example of that," Rivest said.

Many viruses have taken pieces of benevolent programs and used them for ill. But overall the "open source" environment online promotes computer security far more than it enables hackers, DeBolt said.

"I don't blame the open-source community at all" for virus attacks, he said.

CA said it recently found a piece of code in Conficker C that says the worm will become active on April 1. Previous versions of the malicious software launched on specific dates noted in the program code, so the April Fool's Day launch date is not likely to be a trick, DeBolt said.

"The best minds in the industry are working on this to protect customers," he said. "We're trying to reduce the impact of the April 1 date as best we can. But we know ... this malware will continue to evolve."

VENISON PEPPER STEAK

2 tbsp. butter
1 med. onion,sliced
1 green pepper, sliced
1/2 lb. sliced mushrooms
1 1/2 lbs. sliced venison
2 tbsp. butter
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 c. soy sauce
1/2 c. beef stock
1 tsp. tomato puree
1/3 c. cold water
1 1/2 tsp. cornstarch

Saute onion, green pepper and mushrooms in 1 tablespoon butter. Remove. Saute venison and garlic in 1 tablespoon butter until meat is medium rare. Bring soy sauce, beef stock and tomato puree to a boil in a saucepan. Mix cold water and cornstarch and add to boiling mixture. Return vegetables to pan with meat. Pour sauce over. Simmer until tender. Serve over rice.

FISH-IN-FOIL

Fish fillets, one per person

2 tbsp. chopped carrots
1 thin slice of lemon
1 tsp. dried parsley

Using a sheet of heavy duty aluminum foil, place a fillet on foil with other ingredients on fillet. Bring foil edges together and seal the foil edges by folding them twice. Make a separate foil package for each person. Bake foil in Dutch oven or reflector oven for about 20 minutes or until fish meat flakes well. You may want to limit an oven to three or four foil packs and use an additional oven for other foil packages.

DUTCH OVEN BISCUITS

3 c. flour
6 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
6 tbsp. cooking oil
1 c. milk

Mix all ingredients. Roll on flat, floured surface; cut out and place in bottom of Dutch oven. Cover with lid and bake about 15 minutes. Makes about 30 biscuits.

It has now been 12 months since gun owners in Australia were forced by new law to surrender 640,381 personal firearms to be destroyed by their own Government, a program costing Australia taxpayers more than $500 million dollars. The first year results are now in:

While figures over the previous 25 years showed a steady decrease in armed robbery with firearms, this has changed drastically upward in the past 12 months, since criminals now are guaranteed that their prey is unarmed.

There has also been a dramatic increase in break-ins and assaults of the ELDERLY. Australian politicians are at a loss to explain how public safety has decreased, after such monumental effort, and expense was expended in successfully ridding Australian society of guns. The Australian experience and the other historical facts above prove it.

You won't see this data on the US evening news, or hear politicians disseminating this information.

Guns in the hands of honest citizens save lives and property and, yes, gun-control laws adversely affect only the law-abiding citizens.

Take note my fellow Americans, before it's too late!

The next time someone talks in favor of gun control, please remind them of this history lesson.

CHOCOLATE CREAM EASTER EGGS
1 package white frosting mix
5 tablespoons soft butter
3 tablespoons flour
2 tablespoons hot water
1/2 cup chopped candied fruit or 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
1 package chocolate fudge frosting mix
Combine frosting mix with soft butter, flour, water and if desired, chopped fruit or nuts. Knead 20-30 times on
board lightly dusted with confectioners sugar. Divide and shape into 8 eggs; chill. Coat eggs with Chocolate
Fudge Frosting mix by dipping egg into frosting, ending with a swirl on top. Keep frosting mix over hot water while
dipping the eggs. Decorate with white frosting mix tinted with pastel colors.

I don't know about any of you who may read this, but I do have some things to say about same sex marriages. What is the big deal? So what if some people prefer to be with someone of the same gender. It's their right. We have lost enough rights as it is.
I don't care what sexual orientation you are, or if you get married or not, as long as you don't push your beliefs on me.
I have no problem with your sexual preferences, as long as it's two consenting adults and no on ends up maimed or dead. And especially as long as no child or babies are involved, and no one is being raped.
The way I see it and have always seen it is simply like this, it is a personal preference as to what gender you have sex with. Period.
To all you people who wish to be in a same sex marriage, or relationship... I wish you the best. It's not anyone's business which gender you prefer to sleep with anyway. I mean by that, it's a personal choice.
To all the rest of you who disagree, you're welcome to your choice and your belief, but the way I see it, they're not hurting anyone. So leave them the hell alone.

Hi All,
I've had a rather busy day. I also found something interesting about me today. It is a beautiful day today, so I decided to go for a walk and take a break from business. A major headache began once I decided to go for the walk. I decided to go anyway.
While out, I actually stopped at three businesses and talked business, and I received positive feedback. So the thing I learned about me is that I must be passionate about this business, and that I breathe, eat and sleep this business. So I'm dreaming it, feeding it and breathing my passion into it. That is so cool.
It is very feasible and hope my new project should be up for sale in a couple of weeks. I've also changed my website look, and while I'm working on ninasproducts.com, I'm also working on making ravnone1 reflect the same changes. I like the new look, I think and find it to be easier to navigate. I hope all of you do too. I'll also post here when both the websites are finally done.

HI All,
I gotta tell ya, the last two weeks of trying to get my websites updated has been a bitch. I have been having so much trouble focusing that I haven't made much progress. Nothing I've tried has seemed to make a difference.
while I don't mind having ADHD, I really hate it when it gets in the way of doing what I feel I need to do. I mean, it's a straight forward thing to update and maintain a website(s). So what is the problem? I have no idea, I feel kinda lost.
I also feel as if I've lost my passion for quite a few things. And I'm not the only one, I have a really good friend who is experiencing the same thing. Sometimes I wish I would just outsource some of the work. But then I wouldn't have the pleasure of doing it myself, would I?
I think I'm just doing some internal work. I'll be glad when it's done so I can get back to focusing. I usually have trouble focusing anyway, but recently, it's been worse than usual.
Any suggestions would be appreciated, so by all means, leave a comment. It doesn't mean I'll do it, but I'll certainly read what you have to say, and if it looks like something that would work for me, I'll give it a shot.

Beware phone text msgs!!!

This following story was in the news last night. This morning I received this text message:
sent by: 5000 sent at: 4:33:01 am sent on: 02/06/2009
This is the body of the text:
"Application Center/This is an automated message from Service C.U.. Your ATM card has been suspended. To reactivate call urgent at 877-330-0510"
I knew this was a cell phone phishing attempt. I went to my bank and showed my banker the text message, and she dialed the number, which is no longer in service. Hopefully the perps have been caught. I wouldn't have called it anyway, as this was probably an attempt to get personal details. I didn't trust the sender, so I decided to post it and the story on this blog.

RBS WorldPay ATM heist nets $9 million in 30 minutes

RBS WorldPay, the US payments processing arm of Royal Bank of Scotland Group, allegedly lost $9 million in a 30-minute period during a global ATM heist that involved 100 cloned cards in 49 cities worldwide.

In a clever piece of news management, RBS first reported a breach of its computer systems and the fraudulent use of 100 cards in a press release that was issued during the busy pre-Christmas season on 23 December. The bank confirmed that its computer system had been improperly accessed in November by an unauthorised party and that the personal information of 1.5 million pre-paid cardholders had been compromised.

But the true extent of the fraud has been revealed in a report on New York Fox 5. Law enforcement officials from the FBI told the channel that a network of cashiers was used to withdraw money from 130 different ATM machines in 49 cities worldwide shortly after midnight on 8 November.

Although only 100 cloned cards were used, the hackers behind the swindle managed to withdraw up to $9 million by lifting the daily withdrawal limits on each card, so that they could be used over and over again.

So far, the FBI has no suspects and has made no arrests in this scam. An attorney in Atlanta has filed a class-action lawsuit against RBS WorldPay for allegedly failing to protect personal information.

In the run up to the day that celebrates romance and friendship, the makers of last year's bot Trojan Storm, are busy spreading their version of love. Seems that they want people to "Be My Valentine" more than ever this year.

Security companies have issued warnings to avoid new spam messages with subject lines such as “Falling in love with you”, “I belong to you”, and “I love being in love with you.” Once the link in the email is clicked the user is brought to a site that has an image of 12 hearts and has the bold text "Guess, which one is for you?" If you click anywhere on the picture, you give yourself the unromantic gift of malware.

I'd rather have roses or chocolate, wouldn't you?

Hello All,
I think sometimes I feel like a Gypsy. I seem to have moving around a lot in the last few years. I suspect I'm searching for something. I know that reality is what we make it to be. I know that we are all surrounded by illusions, smoke and mirrors. We are all here to learn that we are the sons and daughters of the Creator. Therefore, we must come to the realization that we do co-create our reality. Because we have always feared the unknown, we allow others to be in control of our reality. We allow the day to day minutiae to come between us and the truth.
I've no doubt there will be an Apocalypse coming in 2012, if not before then. If mankind can only learn the truth and change his consciousness by going thru intense physical trauma, then that is how it will be.
I heard many theories about what will happen. I'm sure there is truth in all of it, because we order our reality with our thoughts, faith, belief, perception, and words. If I choose to believe that the grass is purple or orange instead of green, who is to disprove it? Instead, they try to say we're insane. reality There are people who taste sound, there are those who taste color. There are people who hear color. So why should seeing grass a different color be any different? All things that happen, do so for a reason.
I've noticed there are lessons in all things, at least for me. One of the things I've recently learned, in the last couple of days is so simple. When I'm wearing my jeans and tshirt, I look great. But when I'm nude, I look entirely different. The lesson is simply that appearances are often deceptive. What appears to be, might not really be.
So, while people may be afraid of what is coming, I don't think we should be. I think we should embrace what is coming. We will all know the truth then, and as Jesus Christ said, "Know the truth and the truth will set you free." Why shouldn't we rejoice about finally knowing the truth? We need not worry, after all, the thing we worry about is something that may not even happen. I personally don't like surprises, because in my past, some of them weren't very pleasant. So I've often let that color my perception of how things are. I am letting go of my past. We really can't afford to let the past interfere with our life of now. Although if time is truly irrelevant, we live in the now, all the time. This does make sense. "Yesterday is the day that is already gone, tomorrow is the day that never comes, and today is the day that is always here." My daughters once asked me the difference between yesterday, today and tomorrow. The preceding answer was what I gave to them, and they totally understood it. At the time. I wondered how to answer that question. The answer I gave is the one in quotes.
The answers will come to us if we but ask. We have an incredible amount of power in our lives as long as we don't give it away. Which is one of the things we are always doing, and not always for our good. I'm not saying we shouldn't follow rules, nor am I saying we should be without law, and having said that, I'm saying that we give our power to our parents, our churches or other religious leaders, our government, our husbands, wives, lovers, siblings, etc. I'm also saying that we have a responsibility to ourselves to keep our power. We empower others by empowering our selves, in order to live as we should. We can all be in control of our own lives, and yet allow others to live as they wish.
I have always believed there is a Divine Spirit in each thing that was ever created, all that came before, all that is now and all that will ever be created. Therefore, I also see all things as sacred, and as being connected, at even beyond the cellular level.
For this reason, I have called myself a witch or a pagan, now I think it is better to find a different name for myself. Because what I believe goes way beyond that. I remember when I did my self-initiation, I heard a voice call me Starwalker. I think this is because we are all one, and when I initiated myself, I consecrated myself to the entire Universe. Perhaps this doesn't even belong in this article, but if you understand where I'm coming from, then you might peceive what I'm saying. I am what I am, and I will be what I will be. I love all things, and yet I, like most people, don't always act like it. I love the mountains for their always changing nature, as well as their stability and strength. I love the trees for their beauty, their strength and their flexibility, which allows them to be even stronger. I love the water for it's power and it's ability to always take the path of least resistance. Oh, the lessons we can learn from nature if we but allow it to teach us. All things are sentient, in the manner of knowing a divine power and that it is within each. In the manner of recognizing it's Creator. We, as a race (meaning the human race), are stubborn, and we lack knowledge. Yet we are afraid of the unknown, and as such we refuse to look at the fact that there is more to life than we are often taught. The most important things learned are often learned from nature, or vision quests. And yet some of us are on vision quests, of a sort, without even knowing it. We are always on a journey.
I think one of the things I'd like to address is the concept of love. I'm waxing philosophical now, but it is nevertheless how I feel. I think at one time, although we loved deep and hard, we had the ability to let go and rejoice when a loved one took the journey to the other side. Death is a part of life. And yet if someone we love dies, we often feel as we are falling apart. As if we have very little to live for. This is not true! We have much to live for, and have much to pass on to others. The person who died hasn't left us, but they did leave the physical body and move to a different dimension. We may no longer see them as we once did, but that doesn't make them any the less real. We are to love unconditionally, accepting others as they are, and accepting the fact that they have moved on to a higher plane of existance. They haven't gone to heaven or to hell, just back to the Creator. We all make our own heaven or hell. I've heard people say that hell is here on earth, and sometimes it certainly seems that way. It only exists in our mind. There is one power in the Universe, and it is good. We perceive a negative or evil power because someone, somewhere, at sometime decided that we would be better off if we had a leader to follow. Now I'm not saying it's a bad thing to follow someone, except when that someone decides he/she knows what is best for all. What if they don't have your best interests at heart? What if they only want to take what you have? In the beginning of time, when man no longer remembered where he came from or what he was, he lost understanding of the forces of nature and became afraid. Gods were created to explain these things. You made someone angry, or committed a 'sin', the gods were angered. They must be appeased. This is where the idea of an evil god came from. We have perpetuated the idea ever since. We give part of our power to that idea when we think about evil and blame bad things on him.
We are so close to the changing consciousness that we have all returned to the earth plane at this time to both remember our true heritage and to help others with the transition.
In closing, I'd just like to wish everyone...

A Teddy Bear For Everyone

Every child deserves a teddy bear to hug when the world gets too painful, lonely or sad. Teddy bears are there to watch over them when the dark is too spooky, they need a best friend or their lives become unstable. There are many charitable organizations out there and they are all working toward the same goal, to put a teddy bear into the arms of a deserving child.

The Vermont Teddy Bear Company started the Big Hero, Little Hero Program in September of 2002, to give children across the country a teddy bear to hug when they need one the most. More than 11 million children are transported by emergency services each year. The Vermont Teddy bear company and outside donations, provide specially designed, 13" teddy bears to provided to emergency service professionals around the country free of charge. Interested parties can participate in this charity by purchasing one of the specially made bears. For every bear bought, The Vermont Teddy Bear Company will donate two bears to an emergency service station in need. These bears are also given to lonely seniors.

The Inland Hospital in Maine, was donated 600 teddy bears to give to children who come in for tests, illness, trauma or with other patients. Thorndike press, located just down the road from Inland Hospital, was able to buy the bears with money earned from a silent auction, bake sales and other activities. The decision for Thorndike to donate the bears was reached after a younger sister of one of the employees was given a bear when she had to attend the hospital.

You may want to start a charitable teddy bear drive in your community, to help put a teddy bear into the arms of every child.

The first step is to recruit others, of like mind, to help you. Let's face it, this a big undertaking for one person. You may also want to get area schools and churches involved. Elementary school students make great recruits, as the entire class (or school) can work together to make money to purchase the teddy bears. Churches like to get involved in charity, especially when it is for children.

Get together with friends and plan some money making activities. A Bowl-a-thon, walk-a-thon, spaghetti dinner, Pancake Breakfast, Bake Sale, auction, rummage sale, or street carnival are all excellent ways to raise money for your teddy bears. You and your group, will need to set a time limit on donations and money collected. For instance, you may want to have enough money to buy the teddy bears by Christmas. You must also decide before you begin, where you will distribute the bears.

While you are raising the money, you should look around to find the best place to purchase the teddy bears when the money is collected. It is a very rewarding experience to give a teddy bear to a child. The look on their face when they see the soft, cuddly teddy, is worth ten times the effort it takes to get the bear. The first time you see a child grab the toy and hug it tight, will be one of the happiest of your life.

I hope this post finds all well, and happy. A few nuggets to think on.

Good, we'll bless the $ dollars and
multiply them as Jesus Christ multiplied the loaves and
fishes," for He taught that every man had the power to
bless and to multiply, to heal and to prosper.

Infinite Spirit open
the way for great abundance for --. She is an irresistible
magnet for all that belongs to her by divine right."

A very brilliant man, who has attained
great success, told me he had suddenly erased all fear from
his consciousness by reading a sign which hung in a room.
He saw printed, in large letters this statement - Why worry,
it will probably never happen." These words were stamped
indelibly upon his subconscious mind, and he has now a
firm conviction that only good can come into his life,
therefore only good can manifest.

I
now smash and demolish (by my spoken word) every
untrue record in my subconscious mind. They shall return
to the dust-heap of their native nothingness, for they came
from my own vain imaginings. I now make my perfect
records through the Christ within - The records of Health,
Wealth, Love and perfect self-Expression.

Spirit is never too late. I give thanks she has
received the money on the invisible plane and that it
manifests on time.

You needn't feel sorry for me,
I'm a superman, and I'll get an apartment.
She spoke the words: "Infinite Spirit, open the way for the
right apartment."

Thus the invisible forces are ever working for man who is
always "pulling the strings" himself, though he does not
know it. Owing to the vibratory power of words, whatever
man voices, he begins to attract. People who continually
speak of disease, invariably attract it.

Therefore, evil is a false law man has made for himself,
through psychoma or soul sleep. Soul sleep means, that
man's soul has been hypnotized by the race belief (of sin,
sickness and death, etc.) which is carnal or mortal thought,
and his affairs have out-pictured his illusions.
Infinite Spirit, don't
let me miss a trick,

Thy will be done this day! Today is a day of
completion, I give thanks for this perfect day, miracle
shall follow miracle and wonders shall never cease.
Look with
wonder at that which is before you!

I have a wonderful work, in a wonderful way, I give

I have a wonderful business, in a wonderful
way, and I give wonderful service for wonderful pay.

His barns should be full, and his cup should flow over!
This is God's idea for man, and when man breaks down the
barriers of lack in his own consciousness, the Golden Age
will be his, and every righteous desire of his heart fulfilled!

Thy will be done this day! Today is a day of
completion, I give thanks for this perfect day, miracle
shall follow miracle and wonders shall never cease.

Vengeance is mine, I will repay saith the Lord" (law). It is
the law which takes vengeance, not God. God sees man
perfect, "created in his own image," (imagination) and
given "power and dominion.
This is the perfect idea of man, registered in Divine Mind,
awaiting man's recognition; for man can only be what he
sees himself to be, and only attain what he sees himself
attaining.

Infinite Intelligence, give me the right house,
equally as charming as this, the house which is mine by
divine right.

I put this situation in the hands of Infinite Love and
Wisdom; if this trip is the Divine plan, I bless it and not
longer resist, but if it is not divinely planned, I give thanks
that it is now dissolved and dissipated.

A woman in urgent need of money, "made
light" upon the Christ within, the superconscious, with the
statement, "I cast this burden of lack on the Christ (within)
and I go free to have plenty!"
The belief in lack was her burden, and as she cast it upon
the Superconscious with its belief of plenty, an avalanche
of supply was the result.

We are also told in the fifty-fifth Psalm, to "cast thy burden
upon the Lord." Many passages in the Bible state that the
battle is God's not man's and that man is always to "stand
still" and see the Salvation of the Lord.

I cast this burden of resentment on the Christ within, and I
go free, to be loving, harmonious and happy.

In steadily repeating the affirmation, "I cast this burden on
the Christ within, and go free," the vision clears, and with it
a feeling of relief, and sooner or later comes the
manifestation of good, be it health, happiness or supply.

"There
is no separation in Divine Mind, therefore, I cannot be
separated form the love and companionship which are mine
by divine right."

I now thank God the Giver
for God the Gift.

I
salute the Divinity in you." They saluted the divinity in
every man, and in the wild animals in the jungle, and they
were never harmed, for they saw only God in every living
thing. I said, "Salute the divinity in this man, and say, 'I see
your divine self only. I see you as God see you, perfect,
made in His image and likeness.

There is an old saying: "No man is your enemy, no man is
your friend, every man is your teacher."

Money is God in manifestation, as freedom from want and
limitation.

I reply: "Speak the word and then do not do anything until
you get a definite lead." Demand the lead, saying, "Infinite
spirit, reveal to me the way, let me know if there is
anything for me to do."
The answer will come through intuition (or hunch); a
chance remark from someone, or a passage in a book, etc.,
etc. The answers are sometimes quite startling in their
exactness.

Infinite Spirit, open the way
for my immediate supply, let all that is mine by divine right
now reach me, in great avalanches of abundance." Then she
added: "Give me a definite lead, let me know if there is
anything for me to do.

Intuition is a spiritual faculty and does not explain, but
simply points the way.

mind, body and affairs.

Infinite Spirit, open the way for
the Divine Design of my life to manifest; let the genius
within me now be released; let me see clearly the perfect
plan.

Perfect self-expression will never be labor; but of such
absorbing interest that it will seem almost like play. The
student knows, also, as man comes into the world financed
by God, the supply needed for his perfect self-expression
will be at hand.

I am one with Infinite
Intelligence. I know everything I should know on this
subject.

Thou shalt decree a thing, and it shall be established unto
thee."

All the good that is to be made manifest in man's life is
already an accomplished fact in divine mind, and is
released through man's recognition, or spoken word, so he
must be careful to decree that only the Divine Idea be made
manifest, for often, he decrees, through his "idle words,"
failure or misfortune.

Infinite Spirit, open the way for my right
home, my right friend, my right position. I give thanks it
now manifests under grace in a perfect way.

Infinite
Spirit, I give thanks that the one thousand dollars, which is
mine by divine right, is now released, and reaches me under
grace in a perfect way.
As one grows in financial consciousness, he should demand that the enormous sums of money, which are his by

right, reach him under grace, in perfect ways.

Every man has within himself a gold nugget; it is his
consciousness of gold, of opulence, which brings riches
into his life. In making his demands, man begins at his
journey's end, that is he declares he has already received.

Continually affirming establishes the belief in the
subconscious.

Concerning the
works of my hands, command ye me. So prayer is
command and demand, praise and thanksgiving. The
student’s work is in making himself believe that with God
all things are possible.

When I asks the Father for anything, I puts my foot down,
and I says: Father, I'll take nothing less than I've asked for,
but more! So man should never compromise: Having
done all - Stand. This is sometimes the most difficult time
of demonstrating. The temptation comes to give up, to turn
back, and to compromise.
He also serves who only stands and waits.

I deny this appearance of
disease. It is unreal, therefore cannot register in his
consciousness; this man is a perfect idea in Divine Mind,
pure substance expressing perfection.

I desire only that
which God desires for me, his new set of blueprints is
given him by the Master Architect, the God within. God's
plan for each man transcends the limitation of the reasoning
mind, and is always the square of life, containing health,
wealth, love and perfect self-expression. Many a man is
building for himself in imagination a bungalow when he
should be building a palace.
If a student tries to force a demonstration

where his "word is made flesh," or materialized, instantly.
"The fields, ripe with the harvest," will manifest
immediately, as in all of the miracles of Jesus Christ.

There is a tremendous power alone in the name Jesus
Christ. It stands for Truth Made Manifest. He said,
"Whatsoever ye ask the Father, in my name, he will give it
to you."

All power is given man (through right thinking) to bring his
heaven upon his earth, and this is the goal of the "Game
of Life."
The simple rules are fearless faith, nonresistance and love!

God is my unfailing supply, and large sums of money come
to me quickly, under grace, in perfect ways.

Every plan my Father in heaven has not planned, shall be
dissolved and dissipated, and the Divine Idea now comes to
pass.

Only that which is true of God is true of me, for I and the
Father are ONE.

As I am one with God, I am one with my good, for God is
both the Giver and the Gift. I cannot separate the Giver
from the gift.

Divine Love now dissolves and dissipates every wrong
condition in my mind, body and affairs. Divine Love is the
most powerful chemical in the universe, and dissolves
everything which is not of itself!

Divine Love floods my consciousness with health, and
every cell in my body is filled with light.

My eyes are God's eyes, I see with the eyes of spirit. I see
clearly the open way; there are no obstacles on my
pathway. I see clearly the perfect plan.

I am divinely sensitive to my intuitive leads, and give
instant obedience to Thy will.

My ears are God's ears, I hear with the ears of spirit. I am
nonresistant and am willing to be led. I hear glad tidings of
great joy.

I have a perfect work
In a perfect way;
I give a perfect service
For perfect pay.

I cast this burden on the Christ within, and I go free!

The list of rogue and fake anti-virus and anti-spyware is growing by leaps and bounds it seems. A couple of months ago, I spent almost six hours on the phone with my daughter to help her get WAV.exe, the Windows Antivirus software off her father-in-law's computer. The next day, I spent almost an hour with finishing the cleanup of the PC. I was in Maryland at the time, and she was in Massachusetts.

Now, I'm working on a different computer that was infected with at least five of the same kind of malware. This is totally unacceptable when people find their PC has been infected by what appears to be legitimate programs designed to stop malware, trojans, spyware, and virus removal software.

Hello All,
I hope all of you have a Merry Christmas, and a Happy Yule. Winter Solstice has already passed, and Christmas is tomorrow. I'm thankful and grateful that I was able to spend the greater part of the day as well as the night with both my daughters yesterday. I have so much to be thankful for and I am. I'm happy, and I'm in the midst of re-ordering my life to suit me.
I feel as if I've finally arrived. Or at least on my in the right direction. Dave, DJ, Merry Christmas...and to all others as well.

A bit of Lore and Mythos - Yule

Yule is one of the most important Sabbats. It marks the time of year when the Sun King is reborn to warm the frozen Earth and enable Her to bear forth from the seeds that she held protectively in her womb throughout the Autumn and Winter months. To usher in the Sun King our ancestors spent the day in acts of sympathetic magick.

Parents would take their children from house to house to joyfully give gifts of clove spiked apples and oranges that represented the sun. Once they returned home they would decorate both the insides and the outsides of their houses with holly, mistletoe, and ivy. This fine greenery was their way of inviting nature spirits and sprites into the home to join in the celebration.

The highlight of the family celebration was of course the Yule log. This sacred log must have either been harvested on the householders land or been given to the family as a gift. Once put in the fireplace it was doused with ale and then set ablaze along with a small piece of the Yule log from the previous year (which the family had saved just for this purpose). The log was burned overnight and then allowed to smoulder for twelve days before it was ceremonially put out.

was created by
an Iraqi
artist named Kalat,
who for years was forced by
Saddam Hussein to make the many hundreds
of bronze busts of Saddam that dottedBaghdad.

Kalat was so
grateful for the Americans liberation of his country;
He melted 3 of the heads of the fallen
Saddam and made the statue as a memorial to the American soldiers
and their fallen
warriors.

Kalat
worked on this memorial night and day for several months.

To the left of the
kneeling soldier is a small Iraqi girl giving the soldier comfort as he mourns the
loss of his comrade in arms.

Do you
know why we don't hear about this in the news?

Because it
is heart warming
and
praise worthy..

The media
avoids it because it does not have the shock effect.

But we
can do something about it.

We can
pass this along to as many people as we can in honor of all our brave
military who are making a difference.

Hi All,
It's always now, regardless of what goes on around us. That's just the way it is. I am happy, and I'm grateful for all the good in my life. I don't think I'll post where I am anymore, too many people exchange note on me. I am protected by the Universe, but at the same time, I see no reason to be stupid about it. And since at least two people like to try to keep tabs on me, although it's not their business where I am, I'm just not going to be saying where exactly I'm at. In the USA is good enough location.
Now to other things. As I stated last night, I've finally gotten the ebooks uploaded to my website. Some are for sale, and some are free. After all, this is the season for giving.
Each year, people say they get the Christmas spirit, and they give gifts. And yet, they still have their petty differences to bicker about, we're still at war, and there is still no peace on earth. The spirit of Christmas is for each day of the year, right now, everywhere. Peace, love, hope, charity, and all the things the season is known for, should be practiced each day. Most of us don't. Giving, sharing, hope and love can be practiced each day. So can forgiveness. I do forgive the wrongs that were done to me, but that doesn't mean you get a chance to do it again. Once is enough thank you.
And with that, I wish you all peace, love, hope, and whatever it is that you need or want this season, and each day.

A Kidnapped Santa Claus

Santa Claus lives in the Laughing Valley, where stands the big,
rambling castle in which his toys are manufactured. His workmen,
selected from the ryls, knooks, pixies and fairies, live with him, and
every one is as busy as can be from one year's end to another.

It is called the Laughing Valley because everything there is happy
and gay. The brook chuckles to itself as it leaps rollicking between
its green banks; the wind whistles merrily in the trees; the sunbeams
dance lightly over the soft grass, and the violets and wild flowers
look smilingly up from their green nests. To laugh one needs to be
happy; to be happy one needs to be content. And throughout the
Laughing Valley of Santa Claus contentment reigns supreme.

On one side is the mighty Forest of Burzee. At the other side stands
the huge mountain that contains the Caves of the Daemons. And between
them the Valley lies smiling and peaceful.

One would thing that our good old Santa Claus, who devotes his days to
making children happy, would have no enemies on all the earth; and, as
a matter of fact, for a long period of time he encountered nothing but
love wherever he might go.

But the Daemons who live in the mountain caves grew to hate Santa Claus
very much, and all for the simple reason that he made children happy.

The Caves of the Daemons are five in number. A broad pathway leads
up to the first cave, which is a finely arched cavern at the foot of
the mountain, the entrance being beautifully carved and decorated. In
it resides the Daemon of Selfishness. Back of this is another cavern
inhabited by the Daemon of Envy. The cave of the Daemon of Hatred is
next in order, and through this one passes to the home of the Daemon
of Malice--situated in a dark and fearful cave in the very heart of
the mountain. I do not know what lies beyond this. Some say there
are terrible pitfalls leading to death and destruction, and this may
very well be true. However, from each one of the four caves mentioned
there is a small, narrow tunnel leading to the fifth cave--a cozy
little room occupied by the Daemon of Repentance. And as the rocky
floors of these passages are well worn by the track of passing feet, I
judge that many wanderers in the Caves of the Daemons have escaped
through the tunnels to the abode of the Daemon of Repentance, who is
said to be a pleasant sort of fellow who gladly opens for one a little
door admitting you into fresh air and sunshine again.

Well, these Daemons of the Caves, thinking they had great cause to
dislike old Santa Claus, held a meeting one day to discuss the matter.

"I'm really getting lonesome," said the Daemon of Selfishness. "For
Santa Claus distributes so many pretty Christmas gifts to all the
children that they become happy and generous, through his example, and
keep away from my cave."

"I'm having the same trouble," rejoined the Daemon of Envy. "The
little ones seem quite content with Santa Claus, and there are few,
indeed, that I can coax to become envious."

"And that makes it bad for me!" declared the Daemon of Hatred. "For
if no children pass through the Caves of Selfishness and Envy, none
can get to MY cavern."

"Or to mine," added the Daemon of Malice.

"For my part," said the Daemon of Repentance, "it is easily seen that
if children do not visit your caves they have no need to visit mine;
so that I am quite as neglected as you are."

"And all because of this person they call Santa Claus!" exclaimed the
Daemon of Envy. "He is simply ruining our business, and something
must be done at once."

To this they readily agreed; but what to do was another and more
difficult matter to settle. They knew that Santa Claus worked all
through the year at his castle in the Laughing Valley, preparing the
gifts he was to distribute on Christmas Eve; and at first they
resolved to try to tempt him into their caves, that they might lead
him on to the terrible pitfalls that ended in destruction.

So the very next day, while Santa Claus was busily at work, surrounded
by his little band of assistants, the Daemon of Selfishness came to
him and said:

"These toys are wonderfully bright and pretty. Why do you not keep
them for yourself? It's a pity to give them to those noisy boys and
fretful girls, who break and destroy them so quickly."

"Nonsense!" cried the old graybeard, his bright eyes twinkling merrily
as he turned toward the tempting Daemon. "The boys and girls are
never so noisy and fretful after receiving my presents, and if I can
make them happy for one day in the year I am quite content."

So the Daemon went back to the others, who awaited him in their caves,
and said:

"I have failed, for Santa Claus is not at all selfish."

The following day the Daemon of Envy visited Santa Claus. Said he:
"The toy shops are full of playthings quite as pretty as those you are
making. What a shame it is that they should interfere with your
business! They make toys by machinery much quicker than you can make
them by hand; and they sell them for money, while you get nothing at
all for your work."

But Santa Claus refused to be envious of the toy shops.

"I can supply the little ones but once a year--on Christmas Eve," he
answered; "for the children are many, and I am but one. And as my
work is one of love and kindness I would be ashamed to receive money
for my little gifts. But throughout all the year the children must be
amused in some way, and so the toy shops are able to bring much
happiness to my little friends. I like the toy shops, and am glad to
see them prosper."

In spite of the second rebuff, the Daemon of Hatred thought he would
try to influence Santa Claus. So the next day he entered the busy
workshop and said:

"Good morning, Santa! I have bad news for you."

"Then run away, like a good fellow," answered Santa Claus. "Bad news
is something that should be kept secret and never told."

"You cannot escape this, however," declared the Daemon; "for in the
world are a good many who do not believe in Santa Claus, and these you
are bound to hate bitterly, since they have so wronged you."

"Stuff and rubbish!" cried Santa.

"And there are others who resent your making children happy and who
sneer at you and call you a foolish old rattlepate! You are quite
right to hate such base slanderers, and you ought to be revenged upon
them for their evil words."

"But I don't hate 'em!" exclaimed Santa Claus positively. "Such
people do me no real harm, but merely render themselves and their
children unhappy. Poor things! I'd much rather help them any day
than injure them."

Indeed, the Daemons could not tempt old Santa Claus in any way. On
the contrary, he was shrewd enough to see that their object in
visiting him was to make mischief and trouble, and his cheery laughter
disconcerted the evil ones and showed to them the folly of such an
undertaking. So they abandoned honeyed words and determined to use force.

It was well known that no harm can come to Santa Claus while he is in
the Laughing Valley, for the fairies, and ryls, and knooks all protect
him. But on Christmas Eve he drives his reindeer out into the big
world, carrying a sleighload of toys and pretty gifts to the children;
and this was the time and the occasion when his enemies had the best
chance to injure him. So the Daemons laid their plans and awaited the
arrival of Christmas Eve.

The moon shone big and white in the sky, and the snow lay crisp and
sparkling on the ground as Santa Claus cracked his whip and sped away
out of the Valley into the great world beyond. The roomy sleigh was
packed full with huge sacks of toys, and as the reindeer dashed onward
our jolly old Santa laughed and whistled and sang for very joy. For
in all his merry life this was the one day in the year when he was
happiest--the day he lovingly bestowed the treasures of his workshop
upon the little children.

It would be a busy night for him, he well knew. As he whistled and
shouted and cracked his whip again, he reviewed in mind all the towns
and cities and farmhouses where he was expected, and figured that he
had just enough presents to go around and make every child happy. The
reindeer knew exactly what was expected of them, and dashed along so
swiftly that their feet scarcely seemed to touch the snow-covered ground.

Suddenly a strange thing happened: a rope shot through the moonlight
and a big noose that was in the end of it settled over the arms and
body of Santa Claus and drew tight. Before he could resist or even
cry out he was jerked from the seat of the sleigh and tumbled head
foremost into a snowbank, while the reindeer rushed onward with the
load of toys and carried it quickly out of sight and sound.

Such a surprising experience confused old Santa for a moment, and when
he had collected his senses he found that the wicked Daemons had
pulled him from the snowdrift and bound him tightly with many coils of
the stout rope. And then they carried the kidnapped Santa Claus away
to their mountain, where they thrust the prisoner into a secret cave
and chained him to the rocky wall so that he could not escape.

"Ha, ha!" laughed the Daemons, rubbing their hands together with cruel
glee. "What will the children do now? How they will cry and scold
and storm when they find there are no toys in their stockings and no
gifts on their Christmas trees! And what a lot of punishment they
will receive from their parents, and how they will flock to our Caves
of Selfishness, and Envy, and Hatred, and Malice! We have done a
mighty clever thing, we Daemons of the Caves!"

Now it so chanced that on this Christmas Eve the good Santa Claus had
taken with him in his sleigh Nuter the Ryl, Peter the Knook, Kilter
the Pixie, and a small fairy named Wisk--his four favorite assistants.
These little people he had often found very useful in helping him to
distribute his gifts to the children, and when their master was so
suddenly dragged from the sleigh they were all snugly tucked
underneath the seat, where the sharp wind could not reach them.

The tiny immortals knew nothing of the capture of Santa Claus until
some time after he had disappeared. But finally they missed his
cheery voice, and as their master always sang or whistled on his
journeys, the silence warned them that something was wrong.

Little Wisk stuck out his head from underneath the seat and found
Santa Claus gone and no one to direct the flight of the reindeer.

"Whoa!" he called out, and the deer obediently slackened speed and
came to a halt.

Peter and Nuter and Kilter all jumped upon the seat and looked back
over the track made by the sleigh. But Santa Claus had been left
miles and miles behind.

"What shall we do?" asked Wisk anxiously, all the mirth and mischief
banished from his wee face by this great calamity.

"We must go back at once and find our master," said Nuter the Ryl, who
thought and spoke with much deliberation.

"No, no!" exclaimed Peter the Knook, who, cross and crabbed though he
was, might always be depended upon in an emergency. "If we delay, or
go back, there will not be time to get the toys to the children before
morning; and that would grieve Santa Claus more than anything else."

"It is certain that some wicked creatures have captured him," added
Kilter thoughtfully, "and their object must be to make the children
unhappy. So our first duty is to get the toys distributed as
carefully as if Santa Claus were himself present. Afterward we
can search for our master and easily secure his freedom."

This seemed such good and sensible advice that the others at once
resolved to adopt it. So Peter the Knook called to the reindeer, and
the faithful animals again sprang forward and dashed over hill and
valley, through forest and plain, until they came to the houses
wherein children lay sleeping and dreaming of the pretty gifts they
would find on Christmas morning.

The little immortals had set themselves a difficult task; for although
they had assisted Santa Claus on many of his journeys, their master
had always directed and guided them and told them exactly what he
wished them to do. But now they had to distribute the toys according
to their own judgment, and they did not understand children as well as
did old Santa. So it is no wonder they made some laughable errors.

Mamie Brown, who wanted a doll, got a drum instead; and a drum is of
no use to a girl who loves dolls. And Charlie Smith, who delights to
romp and play out of doors, and who wanted some new rubber boots to
keep his feet dry, received a sewing box filled with colored worsteds
and threads and needles, which made him so provoked that he
thoughtlessly called our dear Santa Claus a fraud.

Had there been many such mistakes the Daemons would have accomplished
their evil purpose and made the children unhappy. But the little
friends of the absent Santa Claus labored faithfully and intelligently
to carry out their master's ideas, and they made fewer errors than
might be expected under such unusual circumstances.

And, although they worked as swiftly as possible, day had begun to
break before the toys and other presents were all distributed; so for
the first time in many years the reindeer trotted into the Laughing
Valley, on their return, in broad daylight, with the brilliant sun
peeping over the edge of the forest to prove they were far behind
their accustomed hours.

Having put the deer in the stable, the little folk began to wonder how
they might rescue their master; and they realized they must discover,
first of all, what had happened to him and where he was.

So Wisk the Fairy transported himself to the bower of the Fairy Queen,
which was located deep in the heart of the Forest of Burzee; and once
there, it did not take him long to find out all about the naughty
Daemons and how they had kidnapped the good Santa Claus to prevent his
making children happy. The Fairy Queen also promised her assistance,
and then, fortified by this powerful support, Wisk flew back to where
Nuter and Peter and Kilter awaited him, and the four counseled
together and laid plans to rescue their master from his enemies.

It is possible that Santa Claus was not as merry as usual during the
night that succeeded his capture. For although he had faith in the
judgment of his little friends he could not avoid a certain amount of
worry, and an anxious look would creep at times into his kind old eyes
as he thought of the disappointment that might await his dear little
children. And the Daemons, who guarded him by turns, one after
another, did not neglect to taunt him with contemptuous words in his
helpless condition.

When Christmas Day dawned the Daemon of Malice was guarding the
prisoner, and his tongue was sharper than that of any of the others.

"The children are waking up, Santa!" he cried. "They are waking up to
find their stockings empty! Ho, ho! How they will quarrel, and wail,
and stamp their feet in anger! Our caves will be full today, old
Santa! Our caves are sure to be full!"

But to this, as to other like taunts, Santa Claus answered nothing.
He was much grieved by his capture, it is true; but his courage did
not forsake him. And, finding that the prisoner would not reply to
his jeers, the Daemon of Malice presently went away, and sent the
Daemon of Repentance to take his place.

This last personage was not so disagreeable as the others. He had
gentle and refined features, and his voice was soft and pleasant in tone.

"My brother Daemons do not trust me overmuch," said he, as he entered
the cavern; "but it is morning, now, and the mischief is done. You
cannot visit the children again for another year."

"That is true," answered Santa Claus, almost cheerfully;
"Christmas Eve is past, and for the first time in centuries
I have not visited my children."

"The little ones will be greatly disappointed," murmured the Daemon of
Repentance, almost regretfully; "but that cannot be helped now. Their
grief is likely to make the children selfish and envious and hateful,
and if they come to the Caves of the Daemons today I shall get a
chance to lead some of them to my Cave of Repentance."

"Do you never repent, yourself?" asked Santa Claus, curiously.

"Oh, yes, indeed," answered the Daemon. "I am even now repenting that
I assisted in your capture. Of course it is too late to remedy the
evil that has been done; but repentance, you know, can come only after
an evil thought or deed, for in the beginning there is nothing to
repent of."

"So I understand," said Santa Claus. "Those who avoid evil need never
visit your cave."

"As a rule, that is true," replied the Daemon; "yet you, who have done
no evil, are about to visit my cave at once; for to prove that I sincerely
regret my share in your capture I am going to permit you to escape."

This speech greatly surprised the prisoner, until he reflected that it
was just what might be expected of the Daemon of Repentance. The
fellow at once busied himself untying the knots that bound Santa Claus
and unlocking the chains that fastened him to the wall. Then he
led the way through a long tunnel until they both emerged in the
Cave of Repentance.

"I hope you will forgive me," said the Daemon pleadingly. "I am not
really a bad person, you know; and I believe I accomplish a great deal
of good in the world."

With this he opened a back door that let in a flood of sunshine, and
Santa Claus sniffed the fresh air gratefully.

"I bear no malice," said he to the Daemon, in a gentle voice; "and I
am sure the world would be a dreary place without you. So, good
morning, and a Merry Christmas to you!"

With these words he stepped out to greet the bright morning, and a
moment later he was trudging along, whistling softly to himself, on
his way to his home in the Laughing Valley.

Marching over the snow toward the mountain was a vast army, made up of
the most curious creatures imaginable. There were numberless knooks
from the forest, as rough and crooked in appearance as the gnarled
branches of the trees they ministered to. And there were dainty ryls
from the fields, each one bearing the emblem of the flower or plant it
guarded. Behind these were many ranks of pixies, gnomes and nymphs, and
in the rear a thousand beautiful fairies floated along in gorgeous array.

This wonderful army was led by Wisk, Peter, Nuter, and Kilter, who had
assembled it to rescue Santa Claus from captivity and to punish the
Daemons who had dared to take him away from his beloved children.

And, although they looked so bright and peaceful, the little immortals
were armed with powers that would be very terrible to those who had
incurred their anger. Woe to the Daemons of the Caves if this mighty
army of vengeance ever met them!

But lo! coming to meet his loyal friends appeared the imposing form of
Santa Claus, his white beard floating in the breeze and his bright
eyes sparkling with pleasure at this proof of the love and veneration
he had inspired in the hearts of the most powerful creatures in existence.

And while they clustered around him and danced with glee at his safe
return, he gave them earnest thanks for their support. But Wisk, and
Nuter, and Peter, and Kilter, he embraced affectionately.

"It is useless to pursue the Daemons," said Santa Claus to the army.
"They have their place in the world, and can never be destroyed. But
that is a great pity, nevertheless," he continued musingly.

So the fairies, and knooks, and pixies, and ryls all escorted the good
man to his castle, and there left him to talk over the events of the
night with his little assistants.

Wisk had already rendered himself invisible and flown through the big
world to see how the children were getting along on this bright
Christmas morning; and by the time he returned, Peter had finished
telling Santa Claus of how they had distributed the toys.

"We really did very well," cried the fairy, in a pleased voice; "for I
found little unhappiness among the children this morning. Still, you
must not get captured again, my dear master; for we might not be so
fortunate another time in carrying out your ideas."

He then related the mistakes that had been made, and which he had not
discovered until his tour of inspection. And Santa Claus at once sent
him with rubber boots for Charlie Smith, and a doll for Mamie Brown;
so that even those two disappointed ones became happy.

As for the wicked Daemons of the Caves, they were filled with anger
and chagrin when they found that their clever capture of Santa Claus
had come to naught. Indeed, no one on that Christmas Day appeared to
be at all selfish, or envious, or hateful. And, realizing that while
the children's saint had so many powerful friends it was folly to
oppose him, the Daemons never again attempted to interfere with his
journeys on Christmas Eve.

Hi All,
First of all, I wish to tell you that I updated my personal website. I didn't realize that my links to the personal pages wasn't working. They are now.
Second of all, I wish to make something clear. I don't play the blame game. I am totally responsible for my actions. Let me explain what I mean, with at least one example...maybe two.
I was not happy with the way things were in MD, so I was thinking one day and setting up this scenario in my head about ways of leaving there. I wasn't sure where I wanted to go, but I did know that I needed to head northeast. I also knew it was time to get my drivers license back, and a vehicle. I kept having dreams about leaving, and also thoughts would pop into my head about the guy I was with. He always looked at me with a surprised look on his face, as if to ask how I knew this, even tho he would repeatedly deny it. But, me being me, I knew. so, when he comes home one evening after being gone all weekend, and tells me he's been called out of the country for Fema, and that I can go to my daughters' or back to KY which I said wasn't feasible, he said he had a friend who needed a dog sitter. So I ended up going with the guy to NH and I now have a car as well as my drivers license. I didn't like the way the situation, either one of them, was handled, but my goal was achieved. I am thankful for that.
Things happen fast sometimes. Now I'm here, and the damn car doesn't want to start, and yet I do have lights, etc. Perhaps it's just the cold, or it could be the starter...I'll figure that out soon.
My whole point is that, I thought this situation into existence...therefore, the next step is to decide where I want to be, and then 'makes tracks like a bunny', and get there.
I was and still am, very upset about how they handled it, and yet I've learned even more about me. Perhaps it is true that we are all reflections of different aspects of each other. If this is so, then, I think it will be much easier now. We think, we act, and we create. We become or else already are what or how we want to be. I'm thankful that no one was physically hurt during all this. Now it is time to move on, and create my reality the way I truly want it to be. One thing I've learned over the last few months, you can't get anything if you have no idea what you want. All you get is what you don't want.

As I said in the title, the games afoot, and now I must decide what I wish to do. From one place to another. The last few years have certainly been hectic. Now, once again, I'm out on my own. This time, I am much more independent, since I am once again driving. I still must think things thru and make decisions about where I want my life to go, and how I want it to be.

Hi all,
Christmas is coming up soon. so is Yule. I'm working on 2 packages that I think you'll enjoy. One is for Christmas, and one is for Yule...whether you're Pagan or Christian, I think you might enjoy them. To start the season right, here's a nice recipe:

WHITE CHRISTMAS PUNCH

2/3 cup of water
2/3 cup of sugar
1 teaspoon of almond extract
1 small can of evaporated milk
1/2 gal. of vanilla ice cream
2 - 2 liter bottles of slice soft drink

Cook water and sugar until sugar has dissolved. Add almond and evaporated milk.
Refrigerate. At serving time mix 1/2 gallon softened ice cream, and slice into sugar
mixture.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING--or when bad things turn good

Hi All,
Sometimes things go awry, but become something good instead. I bet that pisses off the people who do the bad shit to ya...LOL, means the jokes on them.
I'm going driving again today, and taking my test tomorrow, after which I'm heading to PA to get get my car. Independence is something to be grateful for. It means not having to ask someone else to do something for you. It also means not being stuck where you don't want to be.
I'm not having a traditional thanksgiving dinner, but I am having a wonderful meal around 1:30 or so. There are in fact many things I'm grateful for, but I'm also angry about some of the things I've endured in the last few years. And yet, each has led to something good for me. I don't think this was the intended outcome the other person meant, but it's a good thing.
Every day is a good day, although some days are better.
