this "anti-spyware" is a rogue

I had a hell of a time helping someone get this freakin' off a PC the other day, on Saturday to be exact. So if you come across this program, stay the hell away from it.
The help I got was from the Windows XP/Vista Blog. I copied and pasted it for you to read.

The registry values here were wrong. Just search for WindowsAntivirus2008 in the registry and delete all occurrences. Another thing to add, before you start do this. Goto the windows task manager (CTRL+ALT+DEL) click on the processes tab find the process named “wav.exe” click on it then click end process. This will stop the annoying pop ups so that you can get to work. And possibly prevent it from moving around and multiplying while you’re deleting it.
