rogue software on the rise

Here is an article I wrote, along with links to follow.
List of Rogue Software Growing
The list of rogue and fake anti-virus and anti-spyware is growing by leaps and bounds it seems. A couple of months ago, I spent almost six hours on the phone with my daughter to help her get WAV.exe, the Windows Antivirus software off her father-in-law's computer. The next day, I spent almost an hour with finishing the cleanup of the PC. I was in Maryland at the time, and she was in Massachusetts.

Now, I'm working on a different computer that was infected with at least five of the same kind of malware. This is totally unacceptable when people find their PC has been infected by what appears to be legitimate programs designed to stop malware, trojans, spyware, and virus removal software.

Below is a partial list from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rogue_software
